Perrie woke up early the next morning. She was surprised to see that Leigh-Anne was still fast asleep cuddling into her. Usually when she stayed the night she was gone before Perrie woke up.

"Babe" She tapped her softly.

"Hmm"

"Babe, you have work. You have to get up" She kissed her forehead like Leigh-Anne did to her.

"No, stay here with me"

"I don't want you to be late"

"Please?" Perrie nodded, staying in the bed with Leigh-Anne for a few more hours.

Her new nurse, Rachel, knocked on the door.

"Give me a second please. I have to uh . . . uh. . . get dressed."

"Leigh!!, you gotta get up." Leigh-Anne stood up and Perrie pushed her into the bathroom, walking over to the door.

"You can come in" Rachel walked in setting the tray onto the coffee table.

"How do you feel this morning?"

"Good"

"Alright, Do you need anything?"

"No. Thank you. Oh, when does the laundry assignment start?"

"Five, we're working in rotating shifts so that we can keep a closer eye on all of you." Perrie nodded and Rachel left.

"She's gone babe" Leigh-Anne came out of the bathroom sitting on the couch, she laid her head in Perrie's lap. She put some of the warm oatmeal on the spoon putting it up to Leigh-Annes mouth.

"Thats disgusting" Leigh-Anne said cringing as she swallowed.

"Yeah, when you eat the same thing everyday you don't even notice."

Leigh-Anne took the plate from Perrie.

"Come on"

"Where are we going"

"We're going out"

"Leigh-Anne, you just said the superintendents are here. We cant"

"You're a patient, not an inmate Perrie, I can take you outside. Lets go"

Leigh-Anne grabbed her phone and led Perrie outside of the room. They left the building and Perrie's looked around her. She forgot what the outside world looked like. She held Leigh-Anne's hand walking to the train station.

"We're going to get you some real food" Leigh-Anne told her while checking for nearby restaurants on her phone before they went underground.

"Okay, we take the C train to Jay St Metro-Tech. Lets go" They walked down the two sets of steps. Leigh-Anne purchased an seven day unlimited MetroCard and swiped the card before handing it to Perrie.

"You know I've never been on a train in New York before"

"Really?"

"Yeah, we. . . I usually drive. Are there really rats on the tracks"

"Yeah, but not all the time. You might see one" They walked hand in hand to the middle of the platform. Perrie was staring at the tracks.

"Don't stare. You're making them shy" Leigh-Anne joked.

"Eww Leigh-Anne. That's nasty"

Leigh-Anne had asked her what she wanted to eat when she saw something move out of the corner of her eye. She squeezed Leigh-Anne's hand.

"Look Babe!!" Perrie pointed at the rat running around the tracks.

"I see it baby, Calm down" Leigh-Anne smiled at how cute Perrie is.
