~ Patience ~

Four weeks... That's how long they've been living with Louis.

So far he's bought both of them new winter and lounging clothes, Harry refused but he still got them anyways and he bought Darcy toys of her own, even though she still played with the ones that were already there.

Louis even put Harry on his phone plan for emergencies since he didn't have a home phone and he liked to check up on them, even if Harry says it wasn't necessary.

He just wanted them to feel at home and to feel safe, he figured maybe Harry would want to call his family or friends, which of course he was wrong about.

It was like his phone was still off, no calls or notifications since it's been on and neither was any when it was first turned back on besides from Gemma but they went unopened.

Harry didn't want to get her hopes up and think he'd come back again.

Right now Harry was at the office with Louis while Darcy was home with Daisy.

Louis wanted to check on Harry and the baby again since it's been a while and the young man seemed more comfortable.

"You need help this time?" Louis says as they go into the room. "No, I'm fine." He gets on the bed and Louis leaves going to get the ultrasound machine, Harry slips off his jacket and pulls up his shirt.

The doctor comes back and smiles, "Look who knows the drill already." He comes over, placing the gel on the young man's bump and searches around with the wand. He was happy to see that the bruises on Harry's body wasn't so visible, he was sure most of them were gone by now.

Harry blushes, "Shut up. I just don't want to be here long. Can my brace come off?" He smiles happily, looking over at the screen, seeing his baby again, this time more certain that they were okay.

"We'll see. Just one thing at a time. So still no gender?" Louis smiles.

"I want it to be a surprise.

"You're no fun. How will you know names?"

"Edward if boy and Gemma if girl maybe..." he blushes, "Wow you're more excited than I thought you were."

"Well yeah I feel them now so I couldn't hate them anymore..." Harry looks away slightly frowning, he couldn't imagine hating the little thing now, all he felt was love.

"What? Hate? Why did you hate your baby?" Louis asked confused.

He shakes his head, "Can you check my knee please?" The older man clears his throat and nods, "Right um okay."

"Harry... you know you been here for almost a month now, right?"

"Yes, I know..."

"Then why can't I know anything about you?" Louis asked as he puts the brace aside and checks Harry's leg, the bruise was gone as well as the swelling had gone down. "I just don't want to talk about me..."

"Don't you think I should know something? You obviously trust me if you're still here... right?" Louis looks up at him, expecting him to agree. Harry looks him in his eyes, "I'm only here for Darc and my baby... nothing about trust..." He lies.
