Don't blame me

"Sunghoon hyung, for the last time, if you don't get back in your room right now I will personally amputate both your arms and your legs," Sunoo ordered firmly, but it seemed to have fallen on deaf ears as he felt two arms wrap gently around his waist and pull him back into a cold chest. He mentally groaned as he knew he had reached the point of no return - the point where his threats were just mere angry kitten mewls to the older male holding him closely.

"Always so mean to me." Sunghoon huffed as he brought he rested his chin on Sunoo's shoulder. He leaned closer and placed a soft kiss on the nape of Sunoo's neck.

"Besides, I don't mind getting my limbs cut off if it's by you, darling." He continued and Sunoo swore he could feel the smirk on Sunghoon's lips against his skin. After processing the words, he released another sigh hoping the older would get the message.

"For fucks sakes." Sunoo ran a hand through his hair.

Meet Kim Sunoo, part-time scientist, part-time illegal aider-and-abettor of the giant man-baby who was clinging to him like his life depended on it. Well, in a way his life did depend on it, but then again Sunoo knew he couldn't stay holed up in his single-bedroom apartment for so long.

The man clinging to him so desperately was Park Sunghoon and Sunoo wasn't even sure if it was logical enough to call him a man. Sunghoon's biology was that he was a living, breathing and annoyingly flirty human corpse, or as the people of the new generation called it, a 'zombie'.

Sunoo could still remember the day he had been sitting in the underground bunker with his roommate when the bloody apocalypse had officially been pronounced over and it was safe for civilians to move back up to the mainland.

----------------------

The young scientist had opted to move into a new apartment because, during the long months, they had spent underground, his roommate, Jongseong, had somehow gotten a partner of his own and wanted their own space. Sunoo wasn't upset about it, in fact, he respected it and honestly, he got tired of hearing loud moans and grunts from across the hallway while having his midnight ramen and stressing over his reports.

So he packed his few belongings that he had salvaged from before the apocalypse and the items he had accumulated during his time in the bunker, and he bought the cheapest flat he could afford. While it was further away from the central city, it was extremely private and was actually a relatively nice place that had been refurbished after everyone had moved back to the mainland.

Barely any of his stuff had been moved yet since so many of the roads were still closed off and the truck wasn't able to come over till a while. Sunoo grabbed his important belongings and made his way to the apartment regardless, excited to finally have some privacy to finish his reports in the sanctuary of what would be his new home.

But it had been the biggest shock of his life when he unlocked the door and walked into his new apartment only to find a person sitting on the couch that had been placed in after refurbishments.

They had snapped their head to him and it took everything in Sunoo's body not to scream when the figure sat up abruptly and approached him because that was finally when he spotted the sickly pale complexion of the person, who he believed was a male, and the dark blood streaks all over their body, hidden under badly torn clothing. Sunoo had shielded himself with his swiss army knife, ready to kill the bloodthirsty creature that had somehow survived the mass bombings but instead of lunging for Sunoo's throat as he had anticipated, the figure walked forward and wrapped their arms around Sunoo's waist in a what he believed was a hug.

The scientist froze for a few seconds, wondering if he had misread the entire situation completely or if this was the end of his somewhat happy (minus the apocalypse stuff), caffeine-fuelled, ramen-oriented, researcher life.
