I elbowed Morpheus in the face and pulled away from him.
"What the fuck!?" I screamed
Looking around I realized that I had no idea where I was.
"Where am I!?" I demanded
"You are in my realm the Dreaming." Morpheus said calmly
"Okay, I'm going home." I said
"You can't." He said
"You can't keep me here." I said
"I can, and I will if need be for the mortals." He replied
"I'm not hurting anyone!" I argued
"Diligence you were preventing people who were meant to die from dying and Death was starting to notice that the people she was meant to pick up suddenly weren't in her book anymore" Morpheus snapped
"So!?! Who fucking cares!? No one is getting hurt! I'm saving people!" I shouted
"Diligence-" He began
"Gods! It's Patience! It's Patience, my name is Patience! Why is that so fucking hard for you!?" I yelled
"Patience, people will get hurt, you are altering what is meant to happen. You can damage the balance of nature!" He argued
"I'm saving people!" I screamed at him
"Patience you are playing god!" Morpheus said
"I am the daughter of a goddess!" I argued
"Yes daughter of you are NOT a goddess. You can't just go around and use mortals as your playthings!" Morpheus shouted
"Playthings? Play-" I stammered
Looking at my feet I composed myself for a moment.
"You think I'm doing this for my amusement? Disrespectfully fuck you!" I snapped
"What am I supposed to think?" He asked
"Go fuck yourself! I'm going home!" I snarled
"You can't" He argued
"Wanta bet?" I asked
Without hesitation I stepped forward elbowing him in the face and grabbing the sand I grabbed a handful and used it to escape back to the waking world.
"Where did you go!?" Asked Specter
Looking down I saw my black cat, I bent down and picked her up.
"My dad kidnapped me which means he now has eyes on me." I said
"So what's the plan?" She asked wrapping her tail around my arm
"The plan right now is to avoid people in case they are envoys and no sleeping." I said
"No sleeping?" Specter asked
"No sleeping." I replied
"Uh, Patience that's not going to end well for you." She said
"Maybe not but no sleeping means no dreams. No dreams means it's harder for him to find me." I said
Specter snuggled in closer to me, and began to purr. My life just got a whole lot more complicated.
