Chapter Three/Morpheus

  I reeled back from Patience's elbow, grabbing my jaw and groaning from the pain. By the time I turned back around she was gone, and my bag of sand was on the ground. Why had she dropped it? 

"Morpheus!!" Gasped Lucien 

"I'm fine Lucien Thank you." I said 

"I can't believe she did that-wha-?" Lucien started 

"I am not surprised she always had a temper. I just need to go find her again." I sighed 

"My lord do you think we need to call her mother?" Lucien asked 

"No, I don't want to bother her unless absolutely necessary." I said 

"Alright." Lucien said

  I started my search for her, but that proved to be difficult. Her mother had taught her how to hide well. She wasn't sleeping that would prove difficult for me but I wondered how long could she go without sleep. She was strong but even she couldn't last long. The more she used her power the weaker she'd become. 

  Several weeks passed before I sensed her in the Dreaming again. But something-something was wrong. She was in distress. I went to where she was and found her lying on a floor bleeding.

"Patience!" I yelled 

  I rushed over to her and knelt down next to her.

"G-get aw-away from m-me" She stammered trying to move away from me

"Let me help you." I snapped 

"Get away!" She shrieked
