One week later, in the weekly Monday executive meeting...

===Chihaya Korinsu===

"One week." Erina said. "It's been one week and we still haven't had any sign of the Ten of Clubs."

I squirmed in my seat, adjacent to her. "It's unknown if the game has simply never appeared, or has simply been too difficult to beat."

"Or perhaps it has been beaten, but just not by us." Ryota said. "If that is the case, then it means one person must possess every card in order to activate whatever condition that is needed to progress the cycle of the Borderlands."

"Can we afford to stretch our teams any thinner?" Gabura asked.

"Ryota, what are our reports on our team distribution?" Erina asked.

Sasori handed him a clipboard, and he flipped through a few of the pages. "On an average day, we have around nine teams leaving, each with an average of three people."

"So... About twenty-seven each day." Erina calculated. "With Maindo's incorporation, our numbers reached eighty-six, and over the past week it has dipped to seventy-nine. As time progresses, we are seeing a smaller number of new members joining, which makes sending more teams out difficult."

"That could just be due to less people coming into the Borderlands in general." I said.

"I've noticed that trend too." Gabura said. "Every game used to have at least one newcomer, remember? It's been two weeks since I've run into one."

Around the room, people echoed in agreement: Indeed, it seemed somehow that as time went on, less and less people were arriving in the Borderlands.

"Whatever the case, if we are to maximize our chances of finding the Ten of Clubs, the easiest way is simply to send more teams." Erina said.
