Update - 1k Reads + Poll===============

First of all, we've hit 1,000 reads!!

When I first started this book I would've never thought I would get 1k reads. It's still absolutely insane to me—thank you to everyone who has read, voted, commented, and supported this book! It really means the world to me, and I can't thank you guys enough.

But another reason for this chapter is to ask you guys a question. How would you guys feel about me releasing a sneak peek one day prior to each chapter release? Let me know how you'd feel about it in the comments. Each sneak peek will likely be just a few sentences or paragraphs long.

Also, how would you guys feel about me asking a question of the day at the end of each chapter? This would just be a random question about AiB that we can answer in the comments, and hopefully allow me a chance to interact  with you guys more.

So that's just what I wanted to ask today. Responses are appreciated, and as always, thank you for your support :).

Chap. 25 Sneak Peek==================

Unfortunately there will only be only chapter this week. This next game is quite complex, so I was too busy planning to write two chapters. If you're a fan of the longer games then you're in luck, because this next game will be the longest yet—five chapters.

So, what will this next game be?

...Eight of Clubs.

He walked over to apartment C without further comment, and we followed him. Near the entrance was a table, and on it were four gloves, four headsets and four vest-looking contraptions.

"The hell is this?" Chihaya questioned, picking up the vest and spinning it in his hand. There was a cup attached to the front, and something clicked inside of it.

"A coin." I said, reaching in. I held it against the light, rubbing my fingers over the ridges on its edge and the indentations on the faces. It was a shining blue, and had a D-50 minted on the face.

Zakū was the first to put on the glove and headset. They both clicked into place, and he tilted his head, as if surveying the world under a new lens.

Chap. 28 Postpone===================
7/3/22

Chapter 28 won't be releasing Sunday July 3rd at 11am as per usual. At the very least, it will be about 12 hours late, though I don't want to make a promise that I can't keep, so there's also the possibility it'll be delayed until Monday.

I've had zero energy to do anything this week and this game as a whole is one of the most complex in the series. It is without a doubt one of the hardest games I'll have to write. These two factors ultimately led to this chapter being incomplete.

I'm about 2/3 of the way done, though due to my lack of motivation the writing is not the best quality. Today and tomorrow I'll try to finish it and revise the prose to the best of my ability. Thank you for your time and understanding.

Update - Schedule Change + Chap. 37======
8/20/22

So, clearly the Wednesday 4PM upload time didn't agree with the Wattpad algorithm or your schedules, since it only got like 9 reads. Going forward I think I will simply push it back to 11AM as it always was, regardless of the fact that it's during school hours. I'll probably just publish it from the bathroom or something so no one sees in on Wattpad at school lmao. I'll find something that works.
