Cowering on the floor,waiting for him to stop throwing punches. I lay still crying and holding my breath not wanting to feel the pain anymore. Tears blurring my vision; I begin to doze off, things spinning around. As I Watch him continue to beat me, I shake. My body can't handle much more, I slump over gasping for air. I turn to him and feel my body fall over.
He looked at me with empty eyes, I blinked. Seeing nothing but black. Black as night, glazed over and shiny, not a single remorse in his body. I could smell the stench of alcohol on him. Then with one last punch, I black out.
