Alpha and Omega 2

Chaeyoung said nothing as they left Jin's shop.

Mina led her through the woods towards her pack's settlement not a single word being passed between them.

Chaeyoung held a single duffel bag over her shoulder as they walk, obviously not having been able to bring all of her worldly possessions when she left her old pack.

This reassures Mina's theory that she had been shunned. When someone is expelled from a pack they are only able to take so many things from their homes before being forced to leave.

Mina had to wonder how it was that Chaeyoung ended up becoming an Omega.

Jin had assured her that Chaeyoung wouldn't cause any trouble but there must be some form of rebelliousness inside this werewolf to have caused her to be forced out of her old pack.

She couldn't afford any troublemakers and wouldn't hesitate to throw this Son Chaeyoung on her ass should she cause trouble.

Mina didn't feel the need to make small chitchat with the yellow haired werewolf.

Chaeyoung was stuck in a sullen silence and although Mina felt for the woman – having to join a new, unfamiliar pack where she didn't know anybody Mina finds the silence comfortable.

Her mood as of late was the same as Chaeyoung and she enjoyed not having to worry about being entertaining.

It took about an hour for them to reach the settlement. Mina was happy to almost be out of the heat and nearly celebrated at the thought of the coolness of her air conditioned home.

When they entered the compound people turned their heads at the sight of a newcomer following their Alpha. She had expected this.

New members to the pack are not an everyday occurrence and Chaeyoung would certainly draw some attention. Especially with her bright golden hair.

"Interesting place" Chaeyoung remarks, nearly startling Mina. This was the first time she had spoken since they departed from Jin's shop and it confused Mina.

"What do you mean?" Mina inquires.

"Building a compound to live in" Chaeyoung shrugs "It kind of seems like a giant prison to me."

"It's not a prison we built the wall as a safety measure. Should we catch wind of a potential threat we shut the exits until we are certain the threat has passed. Otherwise you're allowed to come and go as you please." Mina scowls

"Not me of course" Chaeyoung scoffs.

Mina furrows her brow. "Yes that's correct until you are properly inducted into the pack you will not be allowed to leave unless you have an escort approved by me. It's nothing personal I assure you."

Chaeyoung shakes her head"I get it I'm not part of the pack for another three weeks so I'm under house arrest until then."

Mina didn't reply not knowing how to rebuff Chaeyoung statement. In a way the blonde was right until the full moon she was not allowed to leave unless she said so.

They finally reached her home the largest in the compound. As the Alpha, Mina got to live in the nicest house though not by choice.
