Mina very much doubted that that was the first time Chaeyoung had ever called someone the most beautiful woman in the world. She did however have a sneaking suspicion that it was the first time she’d meant it.

The rest of the night passed by in a blur. She remembered a little more dancing and a little more champagne but by 10 p.m. she and Chaeyoung were climbing into the car that take them there to drive back to their apartment building.

The ride was a quiet one, Chaeyoung spent all of it staring out the window, her hand resting on the seat between them. Mina on the other hand spent most of it stealing glances at Chaeyoung and wishing with all her might she had the courage to reach over and take that hand in hers.

What the fuck was wrong with her she ask angrily to herself. When she first met Chaeyoung in person, she spent the car ride making out with her. Hell she even straddled Chaeyoung, What was so different now?

The difference was, the rational part of her brain chided that she was no longer trying to win the upperhand in a prank war. The difference now was she genuinely wanted to kiss Chaeyoung. She wanted Chaeyoung to lay her down in her bed and make her scream like she knew she could do.

Eventually they arrive back at their building. The elevator ride was just as quiet as the car ride and finally they were standing right in the space between their apartments.

Chaeyoung had long since undone her bowtie so it hung around her neck while she stands there smiling at Mina, her jacket open and tucked underneath her arms with her hands in her pocket. It gave Mina a peek at her suspenders and for some unknown, god forsaken reason it made her want Chaeyoung even more.

“Well” Chaeyoung grin. “Thanks for coming to the thing with me tonight. You really saved me.”

Mina didn’t know what to say so she just bit down on her lip and nods. Her hands were itching to reach forward and grab Chaeyoung by the suspenders and kiss her.

“Mina?” Chaeyoung ask in concern. “Are you OK?’

It was the question that triggers instead of answering Chaeyoung she surges forward and did exactly what she’d been dreaming of. She grabs Chaeyoung's suspenders and kisses her.

If Chaeyoung was surprised she didn’t let on. The minute their lips connected Chaeyoung's hands were at Mina's waist, pulling her closer until their bodies were flush which was nothing to say of how Mina’s face felt, she felt like she was on fire with how Chaeyoung's lips slanted over hers, how Chaeyoung's teeth nibbles on her bottom lip and how Chaeyoung's tongue moved with hers.

“Chaeyoung” Mina murmurs when their faces broke apart. “Take me inside.” Chaeyoung fisted the material of her dress.

“Are you sure?” Chaeyoung whispers.

Mina nods and that was all Chaeyoung needed. In a flash the blonde's hands had found her keys and the door was unlock. Then she pulls Mina inside her apartment.

The minute the door was close behind them, Mina grabs hold of Chaeyoung's lapels and kisses her hard.

Chaeyoung's arms wrap around Mina, one staying around her waist while her other moved upward, her hand splayed between the brunette's shoulder blades.
