Chapter 2: Wonder Warriors, Unite!

Cal stared at the egg shaped gem in his hand, and then took a deep breath. "I should go help them. In fact, my friends are my treasures of all treasures." Cal said as his soul gem began to glow. In a flash of silver light, he was now dressed in what appeared to be a knight costume, with a circlet, a checkerboard chestplate, and silver boots. His weapon of choice was a pair of golden gauntlets, and his soul gem, in the shape of a crown, lay on the left hand in a panjas bracelet.

"It's as if something is telling me to find the others. Let's go!" Cal said, and he and his Nega Bosses were off to find Lucy- whose mansion was only just a short walk or so away. "This is gonna be a long night." Cal muttered to himself. When the trio approached the Wong Mansion, Cal immediately knocked on the door. "Lucille? Are you in there?" He asked, hoping to get the attention of his crush. "Yes, Calvin! I'm coming down!" Lucy said as she hurried downstairs with Inkabelle at her side.

The moment the famed artist opened the door, Cal gasped in shock. Instead of her normal outfit that she always wore, she had on a dress reminiscent of Inky Blaster, a fancy beret, polka dotted shoes, and a giant paintbrush as her weapon of choice. Her Soul Gem was in the shape of a teardrop; and lay at her neck on a shiny gold necklace. "Something has most definitely happened." Inkabelle added.

"Absolutely. Let's go!" Cal said, and the duo were off; only to be greeted by a bunch of Negati. "Did they just find us?!" The checkered king said as he tried to evade the attacks of the shadowy creatures. "Use your Gauntlets! They'll reduce the creatures to dust." Lucy said, and used her own paintbrush to knock the blobs of negativity out of sight. "Hyaaaaaah!" Cal said, using his fists to his advantage. Sooner than ever, the Negati were running for their lives; and the duo breathed a sigh of relief.

"That was fast! But then again, I wonder how the others are doing. I really hope they didn't get affected by the fog." Cal said, looking towards the starry sky, wishing that his friends were ok. Suddenly, As if by his words, Jose Gallard and Yuri Brand hurried into the clearing, both of them in Magical Warrior form. Jose was wearing an outfit that had the exact colors of a Tornado Wolf, with a cream colored vest and brown cowboy boots to match. His Soul Gem, in the shape of an ear of corn, lay on the rim of his hat; and his weapon of choice was a shovel. Barktholomew was also by his side, stretching out his limbs.

Yuri's magical warrior outfit was more of a kimono with detached sleeves; with the outfit made to resemble that of Dusk Butterfly. Her Soul Gem was on her Obi and in the shape of a butterfly; and she carried 2 paper fans as her weapon. Wormsworth chirped as she lay on Yuri's shoulder, the bug monster aware of her surroundings. "Cal! You're alright! We knew it!" Jose said in relief, Hugging his best friend.

"And if you guys are ok, then that means the others are fine!" Said Lucy as she stroked back her hair. As if the Madame of The Mansion's words couldn't be true enough, the rest came in, albeit in different ways- and with different looks, too! Sana and Eis glided in with Cuckoo and Hydrac, both landing on the asphalt gracefully. "Sana! Eis! You're alive!" Jose cheered as he saw the birdwatcher and firefighter arrive on the scene.

Sana's Magical Warrior garb looked to be themed after Guardian Bird, with a skirt that looked to be adorned in purple feathers, a bow and arrow as her means of combat, and her Soul Gem being a brooch and in the shape of a bird. "Gobble Gobble Gobble!" Cuckoo went as she landed on Sana's arm. Eis' new look was reminiscent of Water Blaster, especially in the design of the jacket, armor, and boots. His sword lay at his side, and his Soul Gem was a shield at his chest. Hydrac growled playfully as he nuzzled his host.

"Don't forget about us!" Replied a voice coming from the left. Attilio Caccini and his wife Cass Milligan Caccini had arrived in time, with Purrla and Princess Marey in tow. Cass had on a frilly pink dress that looked just like Air Cat, with a faux pair of ears and tail to add to the authenticity; and claws to serve as her weapon. Her Soul Gem was a small pink cat head in her hair, and Purrla was practically swooning over how cute "Time Doll" looked. Attilio had on a ringmaster's outfit that appeared to be inspired by Happy Blaster; and a giant squeaky hammer served as his form of combat. A trio of spheres on his belt was his soul gem, and Princess Marey couldn't help but fall in love with her "Clown Bro" and his new look.

"And us!" Chimed in 2 other voices. Fiona Demetria and Haoyu Chang had arrived at the right moment, with Anjellica and Worville Wright landing next to them. Fiona now looked like a humanized Dynamic Dolphin in Magical Warrior form; and her oddly fitting weapon was a trident. Her Soul gem was an aquamarine dolphin at her chest, and Anjellica complimented Finny on how great she looked. As for Haoyu, he now donned what appeared to be a pilot's outfit, with elements of his representative costume; Aero Acrobat, present. His Soul Gem was an Orange Propeller on his right hand as a bracelet; and a crossbow was his weapon of choice. Worville nearly fainted at the sight of his "Bro Bro".

"Looks as if the gang's all here." Said yet another voice. Bruce Stone and Iben Bia had caught up with the rest of the team; and The Grim Creeper and Hooverton trailed behind them. Iben now wore an outfit similar to Frost Fairy, with fake fur trimming and all; and a MASSIVE scythe as her weapon. Her Soul Gem was a light blue snowflake as her hair clip; and The Grim Creeper almost fell in love with his own host. Bruce, on the other hand, had an outfit similar to that of a scientist and his own costume Invisible Man. His weapons were both his cane and homing bombs, which he made with the chemicals around his waist. His Soul Gem was a Mauve Cube that lay on his tie, and Hooverton fell in love with his master's new look.

"Looks like we're all here- except for Leo and Emma! Where are they?!" Jose said in shock. "They said that they went to go investigate the strange anomalies happening and ran into a Warlock's Labyrinth!" Cass said, which caused the rest of the inhabitants to gasp in horror. "Then we have to go find and save them! They saved us, so we must return the favor in some way!" Iben said, putting away her scythe temporarily. "Lead the way, our bishop." Fortie said to Cal. "Leo, Emma, we're coming!" Cal said as he and the rest of the inhabitants hurried into the night, hoping that all wasn't lost...
