Chapter 3: Rescuing The Visitors

As the gang hurried towards the plaza, they saw a massive tree of Negativity where the fountain was. "They must be in there. I've heard them!" Cass said. "Same here. We came as fast as we could." Replied a familiar voice. It was Esme and her team, along with their Nega Bosses. "Thank gosh you came in time! We got your warning at once." The baker said, dusting off her blonde hair. "We're on our way!" Cordon Waffieri said, flying straight in. "Sorry we're a teensy bit late." Replied Wilson, his short brown hair and mace glistening in the evening light while Trackscrofa was behind him. Lydia smiled, her long blue hair tied up in a ponytail. "We made it here in time, though!" She said, allowing Sonaigiformes to perch on her.

"Thank goodness you're all here! You made it in time!" Cal said as he stroked back his hair- with Adrien, Clarissa, Shin, Stella, Derek, Harvey, Alicia, Jeremy, and Regina hurrying behind them with their NegaBosses. "We have to go inside that labyrinth. The two kids may be inside." Derek said, readying his giant scissors as Audtrap VIII chirped sternly. "Then inside we go, then!" Cass replied as the two teams of Magical Warriors hurried into the labyrinth. Inside, the labyrinth appeared to be a giant maze of tree roots and spilled chemicals, along with what appeared to be giant water pipes. "Ok, guys! In case a familiar approaches, we smack it silly!" Fortie said.

"You said it, Fortie!" Cal said as he punched a Negati in the face, throwing it into a nearby wall. "That was great, Cal!" Eis replied, swinging his fiery blade to take out some tree roots that were blocking their way. As they ventured further into the labyrinth, they could hear the voices of what appeared to be two kids more and more. "That must be Leo and Emma." Said Esme as she dusted off her apron and stroked Cordon Waffieri's plumage so he wouldn't get angry.

"Hey! Stand back, you overgrown arachnid!" Replied a voice. "Wait. Who said that?!" Jeremy said; looking around. "T-That definitely wasn't me." Replied Clarissa, his ballerina love interest, adjusting her blade so it wouldn't fall out of its sheath anymore. "Then that means..." began Attilio. "We're getting really close to the warlock! Come on!" Cass said as she led the gang towards where the voices were. When they made it to what appeared to be the heart of the labyrinth, they finally caught glimpses of Leo and Emma- the two kids who had saved them. "Take this!" Leo replied, using the dual swords he wielded to attempt to drive the giant scorpion warlock away. "Scorpain, you can't hurt us now! We're just trying to free you!" Emma said, aiming a beam of light from her Diamond scepter.

"Leo! Emma! It's us!" Replied Jose, running into the battlefield with the others. "We've come for backup, and we were worried about you two!" Esme said as she twirled her frying pan around before smacking another Negati behind her. "Guys! You made it!" Leo said as he slashed away at the warlock, only for it to flip over on its belly. "Good. And just in time. Let's try to finish this off!" Emma said as she kicked the soft underside of the scorpion warlock. "Don't worry, kids! We're on it!" Bruce said as he created a homing bomb, then set it free so it could explode in the warlock's weak point. "Nice save, dad." Iben said as she used her scythe to summon some icicles, hitting the warlock.

"I-I think it's at low health. Let's finish it off so we can save the trapped person inside and get the grief seed!" Yuri said as she readied her paper fans. "You said it, Yuri!" Jose said as he readied his finisher to take out the warlock. "You ain't going anywhere- Fertile Earthshock!" He said, jumping up and then lowering his shovel at a fast pace- that it pierced Scorpain's belly and caused the warlock to screech in pain, then writhe a bit. Finally, the Warlock was defeated and the labyrinth faded away. "Great work, you guys!" Leo said as he dusted off his tank top. But in Scorpain's place, was a Magical Boy with a scientist outfit and a blue teardrop Soul Gem.

"Ugh... what happened?!" He said as he woke up, with a bit of help from Leo and Emma. "Look. Jamie. You got turned into a Warlock or something like that!" Emma said as she gave Jamie back his chemicals, while Leo took the grief seed and used it on Jose. "Thanks a bunch, pardner." Jose replied as Barktholomew rubbed off the burrs on his deep purple and blue fur. "No problem at all. But maybe you should get to a safe place. The world is in danger!" Said Cal, and Jamie nodded before hopping away, hopefully to get to safety. "Thank goodness we found you, eh?" Fiona asked.

"You bet. We wouldn't know what to do if you didn't arrive in time!" Emma said, but suddenly, something really fast- and really dark crossed their path. "Was that a Negati?!" Cal asked. "Then we have to follow it. Something tells me that it wants to tell us something." Emma said. But one chase later, Emma was right- but this was no ordinary Negati. It was Kuro, a Kosokoso who just wanted to do the right thing. "Kuro? What are you doing here?!" Asked Cal as he picked the small squirrel-like Negati up. Kuro only chirped and pointed to the door to Wonderworld. "Well... we're in for a long night now." Cal said.
