Four boys were sitting on the couch, watching some sort of movie, a comedy of sorts. But they were all doing their own things too, Kurpika was reading, Leorio was studying for Med school, and Gon and Killua were playing rock, paper, scissors.

They were all currently at (Y/n)'s house, where she was letting them stay when they needed a break from their individual adventures. Now the question is, how did a fourteen-year-old girl get a house? With her Hunter license! (Y/n) got her license for a few reasons, One, to be able to support herself and her Family over on the Azian continent where she was from, Two, to travel around to be a famous artist. Her small three bedroom home was located a few kilometers( miles) away from Yorknew city, near the ocean.

(Y/n) was in the kitchen making lunch for five of them, happily humming to herself. She was aware today was her fifteenth birthday, but didn't make a big deal about it. (Y/n) was always just happy with being wherever she was, enjoying the things and people around her, she wasn't big on extravagant celebrations. She enjoys the little things in life. Maybe that's why she didn't seem to notice that her friends didn't say anything to her this morning? Oh well, pushing that thought aside she finished her final touches to the lunch she made, which consisted of Onigiri[1], Tamagoyaki[2], and some Soba noodles[3] to balance it out. (Y/n) began to set the table, putting everything on pearly white plates and glasses. She reached and took the hot kettle of green tea off the burner and sat it on the small wood trivet[4], making sure to blow some steam away with a towel.

Once everything was set, the (H/c) haired teen smiled to herself, walking towards the living room. She popped her head in and smiled wider at the boys, " Guys! Lunch is ready!~" She sang. All the boys looked up at the girl confused. " What's got you so happy (Y/n)?" Killua asked, getting up with the others and walking into the kitchen. Leorio nodded at that, " Yeah, you aren't usually so...peppy. You're always laid back." He inquired.

(Y/n) just kept smiling, "It's just a good day!".

The group of five sat at the small table, the boys looking at the food immediately. " Wow! This looks awesome (Y/n)-Chan!" Gon cheered, eyes sparkling with joy. " Indeed, this looks delicious (Y/n)." Kurapika agreed, smiling at the girl next to him. (E/c) eyes sparkled like stars, a soft pink tint staining her cheeks." You think!? Oh yay!" The girl clapped giddily, the smile never resting. She was like a beacon of happiness, and it was enough to get the other four to smile and chuckle at her behavior.
