A knock on the clinic door caught the attention of the staff.

"Aww. You're here again." Said by the staff.

"Yes phi. May I help with nong Mark's pheromones?"

The omega doctor that previously took care of Mark in the clinic came in before the staff could answer.

"Mr. Vivis, you are here again. Did I hear it right? You want to help nong Mark?"

Vee who was talking with the beta staff earlier looked at the doctor and nodded his head.

"Are you his mate?"

"I don't know yet but I hope so." Vee replied calmly.

"Hmm...well, actually I could somewhat tell that you are probably a candidate. The moment you came in, the smell of his pheromone slowly stabilized although he took a suppressant, an alpha mate's scent is different."

Vee's lips arched up. He walked towards Mark who was lying in bed.

"I'll leave the two of you here. But, no funny business. Sex between alpha and omega is too intense. This specialized isolated room might not be enough to contain your strong pheromones and nong Mark's incoming heat. You better take him home after he stabilizes."

As the two were left alone, Vee could only stare at Mark's face while hearing him breathe softly.

"You don't know how much your pheromones could make me go crazy. I'm already doing the best I could not to devour you. If this is the only way for me not to scare you, I'll do anything."

His hands slowly caressed Mark's hair that was covering the latter's forehead.

As soon as Vee noticed that Mark's condition subsided, he immediately asked permission from the doctor to take Mark home. He also asked James to take care of Mark's classes which the former agreed.

Vee took Mark to the latter's home. Mr. and Mrs. Masa received them well.

"I know you can't smell it but if you have an omega or alpha staff here, sir and madam, please let them leave for now. My pheromones are at their peak because I'm with Mark and his heat is just starting."

The parents agreed and dismissed for the day any of their servants that are not beta.

After settling Mark in his room, Vee talked to Mark's parents.

"Sir, Madam, please make sure that Mark will take his suppressant for the next few days. He's new to this but he needs to learn how to protect himself. Do not also let him out or meet other alphas in the meantime."

"But, why are you fine despite carrying my son here?" Mrs. Masa asked.

Vee smiled painfully. Mr. Masa held his wife's hand. "Dear, he's not fine, he's just doing his best to restrain himself." He looked back at Vee. "Isn't this hard for you?"

"I'm fine, sir. It's probably more painful for Mark."

"Did you already confirm that...well...the two of you are soul bond?" Mr. Masa additionally asked.

Vee smiled again but this time it has a hint of gentleness. "Yes sir, at least for me, I know that he is my bond ever since I saw him."

"But...how about Leyla?" Mrs. Masa interrupted. "What will happen to her?"

"Dear, let our son handle this on his own."

Although Mark already informed his parents of him and Leyla's status, they couldn't shake off the thoughts of the kids' sufferings.
