Part 2 (the meeting)

No One's POV:
It was a normal Monday in the middle of October but Lucas was nervous. You see in one week the first basketball tryout was being held and Lucas still hadn't made up his mind about tryouts.

Lucas was suddenly snapped out of his thoughts by an excited Mike "hey Lucas you good" said Mike

"Yeah, I'm good" Lucas responded while his voice cracked due to his overwhelming anxiety. Thankfully Mike didn't seem to notice.

"Whatever you say man, anyways I'm meeting up with El. You wanna come with."

Lucas hesitantly agreed, and thought of using It as a way to get his mind off basketball.

Max Pov:
"Cmonnnnnnn Max" El whined.

"No El absolutely not I'm not about to third wheel all day" I repeated time and time again.

"But you won't Mike's bringing his best friend Lucas" El stated.

I wasn't going to lie it peaked my attention, and unfortunately El noticed.

"Sooooooo" El said as she arched her eyebrow.

"Fine" I said in defeat. "But I swear if there is any funny business I'm out" I added.

El just nodded and hummed as she skipped away.

Lucas POV:

"Mike I'm starting to re-think this" I stated nervously.

"Lucas chill! Plus she's bringing her friend Max" Mike said to try and calm me down.

"How the hell is that supposed to help me Mike!" I sorta yelled

"Bro she's totally your type" Mike said while laughing.

I ignored what he said and told him we should just go.

When we arrived at Bennys, We saw El and as Mike ran to her, I started to get ready to leave when I couldn't see her friend.

Suddenly I see a beautiful white figure with fiery red hair that perfectly flowed in the wind. Not to mention she had the deepest ocean blue eyes perfectly blending with the freckles on her face.

I was so amazed that I just sat there stunned unable to speak and unable to move.
