Part 3 (Is he okay)

Max POV:

We FINALLY made it to Benny's and I was sorta excited to see Mikes friend . I mean it's good to not third wheel all the time anymore.

I ended up forgetting something in Els car so I fell kinda behind m. I rushed back and came out from behind El, that's when I saw a dark skinned boy he looked sheepish but cute.

He seemed to be getting ready to leave until we locked eyes. His mouth opened and his eyes widened.

"Hey you're Lucas right? Are you okay" I asked a little concerned.

"Y-yeah I'm fine" he responded as his voice was cracking.

"Are you sure you look like you've seen a ghost" I said while laughing.

"I'm seriously fine I'm Lucas by the way, Lucas Sinclair." He said as he stuck out his hand, but he still seemed nervous.

"Well hello Lucas I'm Max, Max Mayfield" I responded while I shook his hand.

NO ONES POV:

The date with Mike and El was going great if you asked them, but for Max and Lucas things weren't going very well...

Max kept trying to start conversations and trying to get to know him. While Lucas kept starring out in space, and avoiding social interaction as much as he could.

Eventually Max gave in she sighed with frustration and gave in. "Do you even hear me talking to you, it's like your some anti-social freak!" Max angrily yelled.

Suddenly Lucas's eyes went wide. He grabbed his bag and booked it to his car. Once got in he instantly started the car and sped away.

The instant Max realized what she said she ran outside after him. She saw his car backing out. "Lucas I'm sorry I didn't know what I was saying!" Max yelled in desperation to apologize. It was to late.

Max stomped in the restaurant pissed. Mike and El noticed right away.

"What's wrong Max" El asked in a worrisome tone.

"And where's Lucas" Mike asked even more worried.

"Lucas was ignoring me so I blew up on him, and he ran off I seriously don't know what his problem his." Max scoffed.

"Max what the fuck did you do" Mike asked as he started to panic.

"What is he talking about?" Max asked confused.

Dustin and Will suddenly showed up out of nowhere as the looked pretty worried.

"Dude we just saw Lucas going way above the speed limit in the direction of the trailer park" Dustin said in a panicked tone.

Just then everybody eyes widened except for Max's. "Lucas never speeds!" The entire party yelled In sync.

Everyone ran out the building. "Why would he be going to a trailer park" Max asked still equally confused.

"He always goes there to clear his head from all the things going on" Will stated.

"Clear his head from what" Max asked even more confused.

The party continued and told her everything and sudden Max felt felt an overwhelming sense of quilt running through her.

WHAT HAS SHE DONE.....
