Brooke's POV
"'Kissing was something I thought was only temping in movies. Bendy pulls me in and takes my hands, holding them by our sides. He leans down, inches from my face and-"'
I'm startled awake. The annoying noise of the alarm next to my bed sounds. I begrudgingly slam my hand on the desk next to my bed and slide the clock to the floor. I sit up groggily and look around my room.
Huh? I blink away the sleep and glance around. No, nononononononono! No!
I mouth. It's - it can't have been a dream!
"Brooke Myles, get your ass out of bed now! You're gonna be late for school." Momma shouts at me from the doorway. I slip out from under the covers and trudge over to the closet. I catch a glimpse of the reflection on the mirror inside. I squint. That's not right..
Before me, in the mirror stands an inky girl, with gold eyes and a single curly horn on the right side of her head. She has a half halo on the left side, that cuts itself off just before the horn's point. She has jet black inky hair, dark grey clothes, and folded white wings.
I frown at her. What?
Ink black tears slide down her face. I look around the room. Momma has gone back to work in the house office. I look back at the mirror and lightly tap the surface. The girl nods, taking me aback. I bite my lip. Are you okay?
I smudge on the reflection. I don't even question how I have ink on me. The girl looks around, then shakes her head. She points at the door. I look at the door. Momma is standing there, arms crossed and a frown on her face. I look back at the mirror but it's me this time. "It shouldn't take you this long to pick out clothes, Brooke Myles." She says firmly. I nod, and drag a finger from my eye to my cheek, and tap my chest twice. She rolls her eyes. "You should be sorry. You're gonna be late." She says. I shake my head and grab some random pants and shirt. She steps aside and I walk into the bathroom to change. Somethings wrong here..
I frown as I lock the door behind me. And I'm gonna find out what it is. Why was she-.. I crying?Bendy's POV
Alice must've sensed that I was near or something, because she rushed over to a table with syringes on it and stabbed Brooke with one.
I don't care about her threat anymore. I appear at the table side, next to my Brooke. Alice's eyes widen and she immediately turns into a dumbass, nervous wreck. "B-Bendy! H-hey! Um-" She looks around. "I-uh-.. I didn't hurt her, don't worry! She's just uh.."
I glance at Brooke, not that the Angel would pick up on it. "What did you inject her with?" I calmly demand. She looks at the needle still in her hand. "Uh,.. Dreamsinite Truth serum." She reads. I roll my covered eyes. So she's in dream land and on drugs. Great.
I sigh low, sounding like a growl. Alice flinches. "Sh-she should wake up in a matter of hours!" She exclaims.
I shake my head and show my teeth. "No. I don't care if she wakes up tomorrow night. Why did you steal her away Again??"
She hesitates. Her pulse is through the roof. She's panicking.
"If you have no answer, then I will give no mercy and you'll end up dead on the floor." I tilt my head to the side, my deadly smile putting her on edge.
"Is that what you want, Aliceilia?" She steps back, hearing her real name. "N-"
I rush at her and she's pinned to the wall, both hands locked under mine. I growl in her face. She leans away, clenching her teeth. "I will not give mercy to the merciless; that's you. Leave her alone and I will leave you alone."
She nods fast, her eyes closed. I shake her angrily. "Look me in the eyes, Damn you!" I growl. She shakily opens her eyes and stares at me. "Do you understand?" I ask. She nods. "Y-yes!"
Brooke stirs, knocking somethings down off the table. Both the Angel and I glance at her. I look back at Alice and claw her across the face. I step back and she screams, crumpling over, holding her head. "What the fuck!!!" Her demon voice exclaims. I shake my head and walk over to Brooke. I scoop her into my arms and teleport back to our safe house.
