Brooke's Pov
It won't go away...
I can't hold my breath anymore and it comes at a rush, back to me. The creature gurgles loudly and screeches loud enough to break glass. My hands fly up to my ears and I leap backwards. It follows in pursuit, and I gun it to the left side of the room. The wall pillars end at a wall, but there's no door. Scrap
Another screech breaks through the air and I take off, back into another section of the pillars. Nothing, nothing, nothing... Where's the exit in this place??
Something catches my eye suddenly and I slip over myself and fall to the floor to turn in a haste, and I hear the creatures manic footfalls behind me, even closer. I run in the direction I thought I saw something.
A black, shady area. My heart pounds in my ears as I get closer. I push myself to run harder, faster.
Was it always that far away?
It's like the shadowy hallway got farther away,...
or longer..
Another screech erupts from behind me.
I wish a brought a flashlight..
We pass into the shady hallway and I can no longer see ahead of me.
Thumps behind me are still prominent, like the heartbeat in my chest right now.
I trip over my feet, and as I try to catch myself and brace for impact, I'm almost blinded by sudden light and stumble forwards. I look down, blinking.
The carpet is gray, and the walls are brown wood. What?
I look around. I'm in a corner, no sight of the hallway I was just in anywhere.
I stalk around in what shadows I can find this time, careful of exposed corners and open spaces.
Bendy's Pov
I shake my head. "I'm sorry, I'm having trouble understanding this.."
Alice sighs, and Boris shrugs. "Okay, again,-" He lifts his hand, letting ink float from it a few inches in the air. "Ink is otherworldly."
I frown, following along. "Right.."
He twirls his hand, and the ink spirals in the air in a magical kind of way. "So then it's only natural for it to not be bound by the laws of physics." He spreads his hand, and the floating ink separates and becomes like a flower, with the petals not attached to the center, and it dances in a circle. "Uh huh..? I thought it was created to be that way.." I say. He nods. "Exactly." Boris says. Alice sighs. "What he's saying is that it can bend reality; hence why we can make portals and you know,... exist."
I tilt my head. "So.. what you're implying is that we can theoretically make it.. take us to other dimensions as well?" I'm trying to wrap my head around how this would help get Brooke back..
Boris closes his hand and the ink dissipates into thin air. "I suppose. Or it can make other dimensions." He says.
"So.." I begin. "We could potentially make it to The Backrooms and rescue Brooke?"
Boris glances at Alice. "And back to the studio, yes. But getting to that place might be more difficult, due to the nature of how getting there in the first place works."
