Chapter 25

"Alex, what's wrong? Did I hurt you," Sam asked, panicked.

"N-no," Alex stuttered while crying.

"Then what's wrong, sweetie," I asked.

Alex started to sob harder. "Victor should be here. I want Victor back. Why do daddy and Vic have to take a vacation?"

I sighed about to burst into tears but I had to be strong. "I'm sorry Alex. I miss them too but when your older you'll understand better. Okay? It might be awhile though. I'm sorry," I said, staying strong. I hugged Alex and let a fear tears slip out. When we pulled away, I quickly wiped my eyes. "How about we walk for a little bit and then we can go into a shop and have some food?"

"Yeah," Alex inhaled. He wiped his eyes and we continued too walk on the trail. Alex walked ahead of Sam and I. We walked together.

"I'm so sorry about everything that you are and were going through. Emma, I'm always going to be here for you. I promise."

"Sam... Thank you," I smiled.

*Sammeh's pov*
Emma.

She's all I think about, constantly. She is always in my mind, it seems like there isn't a second in a day that I don't thin about Emma. When I'm playing soccer, running, or when I was on vacation, there she was, on my mind.

Ever day, my love for her grows.

*Emma's pov*

"Alex, what would you like," I asked Alex while waiting in line at a small food court.

"Fries, chicken nuggets, and... A shak," Alex said.

"Okay, go pick a spot for all of us too sit," I told him and his small legs ran too a booth by a window.

"Shit," Sam muttered under his breathe.

"Huh," I asked. Sam gave me a confused look. I don't think I was suppose to hear him. "You said shit?"

"Ohh, right. Well, I forgot my wallet so," Sam trailed off.

"Well I can pay for you," I offered.

"No,no. You don't have too its okay."

"Samuel. What do you want?" Sam stayed quiet. "Please! I insist. If you don't tell me what you want I'll bite your ear off," I threatened.

"My ears all yours," Sam half smiled then turned the smile into a weird face.

"Sam. Please," I replied with a serious, straight face.

".. Fine," Sam gave in, "I'll have what Alex is having with barbecue sauce. And thank you, Emma," Sam leaned in and gave me a hug. It wasn't even an awkward hug either. I just wanted to stay there forever. But unfortunately we let go.

I told the cashier what we wanted. I also wanted what Alex and Sam had. Sam and Alex sat on one side of a type booth and I sat on the other.

"Mhmm! Food! Yummy," Alex exclaimed, eyeing the food.

"Food is babe, I would say bae but its not shit so- oh sorry for swearing in front of Alex," Sam blushed. I laughed.

"Its okay, he knows nit to swear or I'll beat his ass," I winked. Okay, why did I just wink. What.!?

"What was that for," Sam asked, raising an eyebrow.

"To be honest with you, I was just thinking to myself. Why did I wink? What," I'm confused.

"Shut up and-"

"Dance with me," Sam and I yelled, cutting off of Alex.

"Um, I was going to say eat but..." Sam and I laughed.

To be honest, I wouldn't really mind if Sam an I danced. <3

*Sam's pov*

I'm falling harder and harder for Emma. I know this is crazy but I lo-like Emma. I don't know if I would say love, yeah my feelings for her are out of this world so would you call that love? When ever I'm around her I get a queasy, uneasy feeling in my stomach and heart, my heart aches when I see her. I don't know how to explain any of this but all I know is that my feelings are strong and I mean STRONG! Love. It's a very strong word but my feelings for her are strong. And yes I know I sound like a fangirl fanigirling over, I don't know, One Direction? I just... i just... I don't know, maybe I do love her.

•Emma's pov•

Food. Num. Yum. Hehe.

Okay, that was extremely weird.

"Ya think," Sam laughed.

"Shit. I said that aloud," I asked, embarassed.

"Umm... Food. Num. Yum... Yeah, you said that out loud," Sam laughed again. I could feel my face get red and hit. "Its okay though, it was adorable..." sam drifted off. It seemed like he didn't mean to say that. Yeah, I don't blame him, I'm far from adorable.

"Mhmm," Alex said. Well, we know that he loves the food. "I'm in love. Can I marry food?"

"Sure. But don't you want to find a cute girl and marry her," Sam asked.

"Sam. Sammy, it doesn't matter about what they look like but I'd rather marry food," Alex said in a daze.

"Alex, I know. It just matters about whats on the inside but if you can find a cute girl and a really nice girl, why not marry her? Its like a two in one," Sam shurgged. I just laughed.

•Buzz•

"Excuse me," I answered my phone while walking away from the booth.

"Em, heyy! Its Anna," Ann sang into the phone.

"Someone seems happy," I said.

"Yes. I am. Guess what? I wanted this to be a surprise but I couldn't wait to tell you! Eeep," Anna yelle into the phone talking really fast.

"Ok, okay, just tell me," I started to get anxious and impatience.

"Okay! Sooo! I'm moving to Georgia!! Your mom helped my mom find a place out there," Anna screamed.

"Awesome!" I exclaimed. "When are you moving here?"

"Wednesday," Anna stated.

"Seriously! Thats in four days," I yelled. I might have yelled a little too loud because some people stared at me and gave me weird looks. Oops, oh well.

"Yup, well I have to continue packing. See ya soon," Anna exclaimed.

"Yes!! I cant wait," And with that we hung up.

I walked over to Sam and Alex.

"Is everything okay, Emmie? You screamed," Alex asked.

"More like screamed woth excitemnt. Anna is moving here Wednesday," I smiled.

"Cool." Alex said.

"Well, shall we continue to walk," I asked.

"We shall," Sam smiled, standing up and grabbed everyones garbage. We said thank you.

We continued on the nature trail.
