Injured - Valkyrie

3rd person pov:

Y/n was patiently waiting for Valkyrie her girlfriend, to return home from her 1 week mission she's been so worried about her as this was a particularly difficult mission but she was due home any second.

You pov:

I was on my phone just waiting for my lover to return home, when I suddenly hear shouting and my name. I instantly jump off the sofa and run to the noise, I sight i find makes my heart drop. My Valkyrie, the brave and fearless Valkyrie pale and bleeding in thors arms. I quickly make my way over to her tears threatening to spill "Valkyrie" I breathe out my voice breaking slightly "hey darling" she breathes out instantly wincing in pain "ok val let's get you to medbay" Thor rushes out the room with my girlfriend in his arms. Loki on the other hand immediately started trying to comfort me "hey she's strong she'll pull through" he said softly, but I knew he wasn't so sure himself. That's when I broke down, my knees buckled but Loki kept a firm hold on me, "hey hey y/n come on let's sit down" he cooed bring me to the chairs outside the medbay, "that's it your okay" he wrapped his arm around me. Me and Loki had always had a brother, sister relationship he definitely had a soft spot for me. By now I was a sobbing mess, desperately trying to get air into my lungs but it wasn't working. Panic attack.

Lokis pov:

I really felt bad for y/n, she had been so worried about Valkyrie and now for this to be dumped on her. I glanced over to her to see her crying but no sound coming out and gasping for air. Panic attack. "Hey, hey y/n darling I need you to breathe for me okay, in and out good that's it" I said to her softly. She finally managed to control her breathing again, when Bruce came out "she's stable, not awake yet but stable you can see her now" he sent us a soft smile a sympathetic one.

Your pov:

I immediately stood up and ran into the room, hearing Loki call after me to slow down but the only thing on my mind right now was Valkyrie. My heart stopped as I opened the door, my lover with tubes down her throat helping her breathe, wires hooked up to her everywhere and her steady heart beat on the monitor. I took a shaky inhale and walked over to her, I took hold of her one of her hands my eyes immediately filling with tears. "Hey val I know you can't hear me but um" i took a deep breath, "you really scared me back there" I let out a watery chuckle "I love you so so so much my love, and in that moment when you walked through those doors I felt like I hadn't said it enough, I thought I was gonna loose you." That was my breaking point, I broke down I knew the avengers were watching me through the window but I couldn't care less until I heard the door open. I quickly wiped my eyes and cleared my throat only for it to be Natasha, the tears quickly started again "oh y/n" she breathed out pulling me into her arms saying things above my sobs like "your okay, it's okay" "shhh, let it all out" "breathe love, that's it". Eventually my sobs died down and exhaustion took over, falling asleep the last thing I heard was mumbling voices of Natasha and Thor.

I actually quite like this one, I didn't really know how to end it so you can make up the ending or I'll do a part 2 who knows :)
