Valentine's Day was never really a bit thing in the compound, well that was until you came along. One year you had the idea to do a secret Santa but for Valentine's Day, so the following year you did. Maria got you wich she was over the moon about as she did have a slight crush on you. that year she got you a stuffed black cat, a bunch of roses and chocolates. That's how you too got together. that was 2 years ago.

Now you sleep with that cat every night you even named it liho (if you get that reference I love you), you even made Maria cuddled it with you too so it smelt like her. You took that cat everywhere; holidays, missions everywhere, obviously Maria found this adorable and made her love you that little bit more. if that was even possible. The team obviously had no idea as you hid it in your bag for missions.

Your pov:

I had just come home from a very draining mission and I wanted nothing more than to cuddle with my two favourite people; liho and Maria, "MARIAAAA" I shouted for her, I heard a muffled "coming darling" she came down the stairs with one of my hoodies on and one of hers in her hands, for me of course. "Hi love, how was the mission?" She said kissing me, "tiring, so I just want to cuddle with my two favourite people" you kissed back, "I swear you love that thing more than me" she chuckled I gasped "liho is not a THING he has feelings you know" I said predending to be offended "okay okay come on you dork, let's go" she says. I grab my bag to get liho out just to find he isn't there, my heart stopped I immediately dumped everything out of my mission bag and started throwing stuff around, Maria was in the kitchen so she didn't see me. I started to throw stuff more violently trying to find Liho, my Liho.

Maria's pov:

I went to go get y/n a snack and drink knowing fully she hasn't eaten today, as I'm cutting up some fruit I hear noises coming from the living room I instantly furrow my eyebrows at the sound until I hear sobs. Y/n.

I drop the knife and run into the living room, where my precious baby girl is throwing things around sobbing, "hey y/n my love what's wrong?" I take her into my arms and sit us down on the sofa. "L-Liho's gone Mari w-we need to find him" she sniffled into my neck. "Okay that's okay, we'll find him" I reassured her, "okay so where did you see him last?" I asked her, "at the back on the quinjet a-and now he's gone" she answered me another wave of tears coming in. Just then peter came running in with Liho in his hands, "hey guys you don't happen to know who's this is I found him strapped in in the quinjet?" he panted clearly out of breath, I silently awed at how she strapped him in. I looked down at her a slight blush covered her cheeks clearly embarrassed about someone finding out, "oh um yeah I know who's that is I'll make sure I get it to them" I said standing up taking Liho from him. Y/n immediately snatched him out of my hands and squeezing it close to her chest, "thank you mari" she whispered wrapping her arms around my waist "your welcome my sweet girl, now let's get you do bed hm?". I felt her nod into my chest so I picked her up and laid down in bed, with my arms around her.

I got a black cat stuffed animal today and named it Liho so this was fully inspired by that, I don't really like the ending so I might change it but I don't know 🤷‍♀️
