Goodbye

   Izuku's family is out in the waiting room of the hospital, some are crying, others are angry, and some are just hiding their faces. Izuku had just delivered the triplets, but he himself isn't doing so well. He lost a lot of blood, making him in a very weak state.
   "Damn it!" Katsuki shouts out as he hits a wall, making everyone look at him. "Fuck!" He's been fighting his tears from the start.
   "Katsuki." Mitsuki puts her hand on his son's shoulder,only to be smacked away. "It's not the time nor  place for a fight." She has tears in her eyes.  "The children need to be taken care of before we have our own breakdowns."
   "Mama Bakugo is right Katsuki." Shoto chimes in. "We need to take them home. The doctor said they'll call us if anything happens."
   "I'm staying right here." Katsuki clinches his fists.
   "Shoto, sweetie, help me bring the kids to the car. I'll take them for the night." Shoto nods and gathers the children, a lot of them were putting up a fight, but Shoto wasn't having it and treated to put those who would fight in a block of ice.
   Once Mistuki and Shoto get all the kids in the car they decide to have a little chat.
   "He's gonna pull though this, you'll see. He's strong." She trys her best to give a convincing smile.
   "... I'm scared Mama Bakugo... I so scared..." He tears up and looks away, "I've never seen him have such a hard time giving birth before... He was in so much pain and he was screaming so loud.... What could we have done differently to help him?!"
   "I don't know... But we all have to stay strong for him. Just stay by his side for now." Shoto wipes his eyes and nods. "Promise me something." She takes a deep breath, "Of the worst does happen... God I hope it doesn't, but of it does... Don't you or Katsuki blame those babies."
   "....."
  
   Katsuki is in Izuku's room holding on to his unconscious husband's hand for dear life.
   "Wake up... Come on please... You can't just leave us... You can't leave me..." He lets his tears roll down his face not caring anymore. "Uh..."  Katsuki is trying to think of a happy memory, thinking maybe that might help Izuku have something to fight for. "Hey, remember when you found out you were pregnant with our first set of twins... How scared you were that me and Shoto would leave you? You avoided telling us until you were like 5 months along." he chuckles "And all that time we just thought you were gaining weight. We were scared to say anything about it, but then you told us... It was because you were pregnant..." He squeezes Izuku's hand more. "I remember how terrified I was, I kept thinking what if I'm not the father of them, would you leave me if they were Shoto's? What if they're mine? I didn't know the first thing about being a dad. I thought I would be horrible at it, but then when I saw them for the first time, I felt like my heart melted.... I... I was so happy when we found out one of them was mine... But it was after we named the twins after the wrong side of the family." He laughs.
   "That was fun explaining to the families." Shoto walks in and sits on the opposite side of his Co-husband. "I had the same thoughts as you back then." He holds Izuku's other hand.  "Katsuki, we are so lucky to have him in our life's, he's giving us such a loving family."
   "Yeah..." Katsuki mumbles
   "I'm not ready to say goodbye to him either, but we need to talk about what we h-"
   "SHUT UP!!!"  Katsuki stands up "We are not going to talk about this right now! He still alive! He's gonna make it! He won't die, he won't!"
   "But if he does, Katsuki! We need to talk about what we're gonna do!"
   "He's not gonna die you bastard!"
   "Kat... Sho..." A weak voice called out, both men look at their husband in shock.
   "Izuku!" They both call out.
   "Stop... Fighting..." He takes deep shallow breaths.
   "Izuku how do you feel? Do you need a doctor?" Katsuki's eyes swell up with tears.
   "Talk... About... It..." Katsuki looks shocked.
   "No, no, you're not gonna die! Please don't say to talk about it!"
   "Kat.... Please... I feel... So weak... Talk about... It..."
   "Stop wasting your energy, Izuku." Shoto gentle rubs his face.  "I understand how hard it is for him... I don't want to talk about it either... But we will, I promise." He wipes his tears.
   "How... are the... babies?" He struggles to speak more.
   "They're fine, beautiful girls... Each one takes after one of us in looks." Shoto explains. Izuku smiles at this and dozes back off to sleep. "Katsuki." Shoto says sternly.
   "Yeah... I know... I get it..." He starts to shake. "Just not here... Not in front of him..." Katsuki walks out of the room, Shoto follows him to the cafeteria. The two grab a cup of coffee and sit at a table. Katsuki's hands shaking as he fights the tears in his eyes.
   "I hate this." Shoto says softly. "I think this should be the last time he gives birth. We have more than enough children, he's given us more love than we can handle, and honestly I think we need to do something for him."
   ".... What are you saying? We should clip him?" He looks up at his Co-husband.
   "Not him, us. I think it would be best if we get vasectomies."
   ".... You know he won't like that. He would absolutely kill us if he found out."
   "He also hates to use protection. Which is why we are in this situation. We don't have to tell him about it."
   "Shoto, he would kill us if we went behind his back."
   "And if we don't he could end up dead." Shoto's claim demnor turns into a stern voice as this disciplining a child. "We both know he's gonna want more kids if he gets out of here. And whether or not he does get out of the hospital I don't want more children. No more after the triplets. I can't risk it."
   "Are you leaving.... If he doesn't make it...." Katsuki looks shocked.
   "... I might disappear for awhile... I don't think I could be around you or the kids... It would be too painful to be surrounded by the things Izuku loves."
   "You are a selfish bastard!" He stands up. "You can't just leave me and the kids alone if he doesn't make it! It would be painful for all of us, not only if we lose Izuku, but the kids would lose another parent right after that!"
   "I didn't say I wouldn't come back!"
   "And what if no one wants you back after that? What if the kids hate you, cus I'd definitely will if you do that, and I'll take full custody of all of them and never let you near them again." Katsuki warns.
   "Katsuki... What exactly do you want me to say... I love Izuku and the kids... But after everything that's happened... Do you honestly think that I'm cut out to raise them with you? You're so much better at handling them than me."
   "My threat still stands. If you leave us, you won't get a second chance." He walks away, heading back to his husband's room.
   "I'm an idiot..."
   "DOCTOR!!!" Katsuki voice can be heard all over the hospital. Shoto stands up and rushes to his husband and Co-husband.
   "What's going on?!" By the time he gets there nurses and doctors are swarming the room.
   "H-He stopped breathing! He was bleeding a lot too!" Katsuki shaking like crazy, Shoto pulls him into a tight hug.
   "It's going to be okay.... The doctor will save him." Just then the whole crew is rushing Izuku out of there room.  "Where are you taking him?" Shoto asked.
   "To surgery. If we don't do it now he might not make it. Do either of you have the same blood type as him?" One of the nurses ask.
   "I do, we both have type O." Shoto says.
   "Then please come with me so we can do a blood transfusion." She demands. Shoto grabs Katsuki's hand and drags him along.

           Two weeks later

   Izuku is sitting up in the hospital bed talking to his oldest twins, they cut school just to visit their mom.
   "I appreciate the vist, but please don't cut class again."
   "Mom, we just miss you alot." Touya grabs his mother's hand.
   "Are you not happy to see us?" Mitsuki asked.
   "I'm always happy to see my children... But... It makes me feel like I raised you wrong know you skipped school." Izuku looks down.
   "You didn't raise us wrong!" Both twins say. Izuku can't help but giggle at this.
   "How are you feeling? For real." Touya asked.
   "Sick. I feel weak sometimes and others I'm fine. The doctor says that's normal after what I've been though." He sighs
   "Do you think you can come home soon?" Mitsuki asked
   "... I might be stuck here for a while more... The doctor say that they are bringing in someone who might be able to help." He starts to cough and grabs a napkin. When he pulls it away from his mouth, blood is there. Suddenly there was a knock at the door.
   "Shouldn't you kids be in school?" Katsuki asked.
   "Dad?!" The twins look nervous. Katsuki walks past them and leans down to  kiss Izuku, but the green haired male stops him.
   "Kat, don't." He gives him pleading eyes as he shows him the napkin.
   "You look beautiful today." He kisses his forehead instead.
   "Lair. I look like shit." She sighs.
   "Kids, go get something to eat." He hands the some money. The twins did as they were told, knowing good and will that Katsuki wasn't in a good mood.
   "What was that about?" Izuku questioned.
   "He left. I don't know if he's on a mission or if he's gone for good. He won't answer his phone either."  Izuku looks down.
   "I have faith he'll be back. He probably just didn't charge his-" flowers were shoved near his face.
   "Surprise." Shoto smiles at his husband.
   "Where the hell have you been?! I've been calling you non-stop you asshole!" Katsuki glares.
   Oh, a villain smashed my phone this morning and it in the shop. I didn't know your number so I couldn't tell you. My bad." Shoto says as if it's nothing.
   "Don't 'My bad' me you ass! I thought you left!"
   Izuku start to giggle at the two arguing. They stop and look at him.
   "I told you he wouldn't leave." He smiles.
   "Izu... I..." Shoto can't seem to get his words out.
   "He better not." Katsuki demand.
   The doctor walks in and explains that Izuku is going to have to go through at least two more surgeries, but then he should be able to go home after that.
   "Thank God, I can go home with my family and say goodbye to this hospital." They all laugh at this.
