Childe's POV:

Of course I knew what I was doing when I first joined the Fatiue. I knew what I was getting into, I knew that my family would be in danger if I didn't agree. But that's not what this is about. The Traveler has something I want. Information...

So... I'm going to do what every normal human would do. Make her trust me until she gives up that information. Let her do all the hard work, and then betray he at the last moment. I'll get Rex Lapis's Gnosis, and then I'll be even with Signora. Hopefully I can also get to Raiden Shogun before that Balladeer kid.

"Childe!" Someone calls to me while I think to myself.
"Stupid Fatiue Boy!" The same voice hisses. I sigh and lift my head to face the small boy with purple hair.
"What do you want Scaramouche?" I hiss in reply. He frowns and shoves a piece of paper across the table I sit at.

"What's this?" I ask, staring at the scribbles and numbers.
"It's the amount of money thats owed to us... That hasn't been paid? I thought that was your job." He says, walking around the table, basically foaming with anger. I sigh and pick up the paper, reading through the random numbers carefully.
"These are made up numbers. We aren't that lost for money." I say, frowning and throwing the paper back down on the table.

Scaramouche laughs and stands beside me.
"Who said anything about being lost for money? And are you questioning the Fatiue? I just need you to get my money... Back." He growls. I can't help but laugh this time.
"Your talking to me like you own me. Back down Scaramouche." I reply. He walks back infront of the table.

"I do own you Tartaglia. I own you, and the right to kill your family. I'm above you, and without me. Your family would be dead." He laughs and turns away. I grind my teeth, trying to stop myself from doing something rash.
"So I'll say it again." He turns back to face me.
"Get me the damn money. Your families lives depend on it." And with that, he leaves the room and slams the door. I bang my fist on the table, tears flooding my eyes, my cheeks becoming wet.

"Dammit. Dammit... DAMMIT..!" I throw the page off the table and stand up.
"I need to get to that stupid Traveler. Once I get her to find me Rex Lapis. All the money the stupid kid needs, will be his." I open the curtains of the dark room, letting the morning sun's light fill the dark corners.

"Welcome to hell Traveler." I say to the darkness. I watch as a few small blobs enter Liyue. That's the ones I've been waiting for.

Time to start.

(y/n) POV:
______________

"Okay... So why do you need our help?" You ask, eyeing the tall man suspiciously. He chuckles and takes another step towards you. You hear Paimon whimper, and you sigh.
"Is this going to result in us getting involved with the Fatiue?" You ask, holding you blade, ready for anything. He chuckles... Again...

"Why would this have to do with Fatiue? I can tell though, you are in great distress. Do you need something to eat? Maybe a place to stay?" He asks, leaning on the alleyway wall. You groan. Of course this was what he was trying. How could you not see him hitting on you from the beginning?
"We're fine, thank you." You say, lowering your hand away from the blade. You feel less threatened and more irritated.

"Well. Should we get down to business then? How about we head to a nice restaurant to talk? I have just the place in mind." He winks, and you roll your eyes.
"This isn't a date. Just business." You say loudly. He looks startled, maybe he wasn't thinking about this in that way.
"Why would you think it was anything but work?" He asks confused. You feel embarrassed, so you shrug off his question and push past him.

"See you at sunset." He says as you and Paimon leave the darkness of the creepy alley.
"He seemed off." Paimon says once the two of you are far away from him. You nod.
"Of course he does. He's clearly a member of the Fatiue." You say in agreement.
"So why even bother meeting up with him? He's going to do something, Paimon has a feeling." The small creature states. You stop and face her.

"Because. He might have information we need. If we can get him talking, we might just be able to find out more about the Fatiue. Even a small amount of information is still something." You say, Paimon looks around.

"Wait, he didn't even tell you where to meet up? How do you know what restaurant he wants to eat at?" Paimon asks, looking around at the busy city. You realize that she was right. You were just so ready to leave the creepiness of that place, that you didn't think to ask about the key points of this meeting.
"I'll figure it out." You say under your breath. She nods and the two of you head away, ready to start looking for answers.

"Your devious Tartaglia." Scaramouche says after I inform him of my plans. I feel better knowing that his mind is else where.
"But remember, you fail this... And your family don't live to see the sun again." He says, leaving me alone in the Fatiue headquarters.
"What am I going to do? What if the plan does fail?" I say, sitting down in my chair, and running my hands through my hair.

"I really can't let the plan fail... I need to do this. For Teucer. For my sister's and brothers. And for my happiness. I need to get that damn Gnosis." I slam my fist into the table again.

"I must succeed."
