Once there was a cat that loved to sing, but the cat could not sing so all the cats in the village came to the agreement to kick out the non singing cat.So the cat was kicked out to a mountain ,and while the cat sang an avalanche fell on the cat .
the end .
Well it was the end until the cat climbed out of the avalanche and tried to purr for the first time. It tried to purr and sing but something was different: it was a sound like no other that bellowed through the town. It was a sound of wonder "Yodel-Ay-hee-hoo". And that is how the yodel was born.
The yodel spread through the town, and slowly over time the yodel became a town custom. So even now 100 years later the town's cats yodel after every avalanche. One day 100 years after the incident a young teenage cat wanted to find the origin of this mysterious yodel. So the young cat ran away from home to try to find the source of their town's custom.
The young cat really didn't know where to start so it thought to itself. "Yodel's seem to happen whenever an avalanche occurs, avalanches occur from a buildup of snow, snow comes from water, water is in the ocean, I'M HEADING TO THE SEA." The cat then wandered to the coast and began collecting materials to build a ship. It brought together several pieces of wood and a bucket that drifted to the shore and then began looking for something to connect it together. First the cat tried to lick the pieces of wood together, but that didn't work. Next the cat tried to use mud but it got too dirty and was generally disgusted by the idea. Finally, the cat found some yarn, it was hard to use at first because yarn is a very tempting toy for a cat but it finally was able to get the ship together.
As soon as the cat got his ship together (which seemed to look more like a messy raft than a boat) he climbed on to sail the sea, cause he stupidity thought yodel was out at sea.
The bug eyed adventurer known as Tom de cat has been at sea for three hours now and was starting to get hungry, so he tied his raft to a nearby rock and jumped out to sea to find his next meal.
As odd as it may sound for a cat Tom loved to swim. In the eyes of other cats he was treated almost as an outcast for the love of this activity. It's not that other cats didn't know how to swim or anything, they just really hated the feeling of being wet and were generally bad at it, but for Tom there was nothing quite as exhilarating than being in the water. He enjoyed the fresh feeling of a cool liquid drenching his fur but that was only one part of his enjoyment. The greatest part of the water to him was the hunt; fish, snails, sea cucumber, turtles, he loved to pursue them all.
He hated the sea cucumbers though, they always snuck behind him scaring him when he least expected it. So he would brutally tear them to shreds every time he spotted one, and he liked eating eels because he could slurp them up like noodles. So as he was enjoying his hunt slurping up some eels and shredding some sea cucumbers he spotted a lonely catfish and for him that was weird because he always saw them in a draft (their collective name). So he ran up to it to see if it needed help.
