Kilm and Gal had an understanding something that nobody could fully understand, especially Marisol. It irked her. She knew Galaxy far longer than anyone in this school, so why did Gal and Kilm have a kind of chemistry that she and Gal would never have.
She watched the tall broody figure of one of the most mysterious guys at the academy, as he turned a corner and disappeared from view.

"Hmm, you know there will come a time when you're going to have to choose," said Marisol as she stepped closer to Gal, who was staring down at a trembling Victor.

“And there is coming a time when I'm going to bash your face in with my tail,” she said with a cheeky smile. To their passing peers, it might have sounded sarcastic but Marisol knew that she was capable and…willing.

“Babe, Chad is going to help you to your room, okay,” she whispered softly to Victor. He didn't respond, so Gal motioned for Chad to pick him up. Gal watched as they walked to the Chambers tower.  The moment they disappeared from view, she turned to Marisol.

“Did you apologize,” she asked.
“I fixed it,” Marisol said.

“I didn't ask if you fix it, Sol, I asked if you apologized,” Gal snapped.

Marisol took a sharp step forward. “Are you forgetting who your talking to, I could have you kicked out with the snap of my fingers. Remember who the goddaughter of the powerful headmaster,” she said staring directly into Gal’s brown eyes.

“Well he’s not the most powerful now is he,” she challenged.

“We both know someone who could bring this entire building to the floor with just a thought.”

Marisol scoffed and rolled her eyes. “As if, that girl is too up in her naivety to do anything. I mean like she's obsessed with two boys who don't even see her,” Marisol said.

“It doesn't matter it is her choice,” Gal said.

“It does matter if she's going to get in the way of that darkling and I,” Marisol said taking a step forward. She had determination in her eyes, she would not stop until Kilm was permanently silent. There was too little she knew about him and too much that he knew about her. It was only a matter of time before her secrets got out when he was around and that was something that she couldn’t have.

“He knows too much and my secrets are also your secrets,” Marisol whispered.

The two stared down at each other for what felt like forever until Marisol broke eye contact to glance at something behind Gal and her entire exterior changed. Gal wrinkled her brow and turned around to see what had melted the ice princess. She spotted a tall boyishly handsome guy walking toward them. She raised a brow and glanced at Marisol.

“He's the new guy isn’t he?”

“The one who deflected your scream of terror,” she continued, making wild movements with her hands. “Oh, I see. This is a contingency plan, since he can deflect your shield means he's crazy powerful, so you want to get with him so that you too can be the royal couple,” Gal ended in a little cheery voice. She wasnt a people person but she was very perceptive and she knew Marisol was up to no good.

“Would you shut up and mind your own business,” Marisol snapped, she walked around Gal and towards Jaxon.

“Hey,” she greeted him as they met.

“Hey,” he responded walking around her and towards Galaxy.

Marisol stared at his back with an emotion that she had never felt before. All her life she has been a heartthrob. She was hot, she was beautiful, and any guy would kill to have her even stare at them, yet here was this nobody of a person just walking by her like that. She bit her lip and blinked rapidly then hurriedly walked away.
