(Location: Burgess, Pennsylvania - Winter 1715)

It was a really cold winter night for the citizens of Burgess with a full moon, even for the beautiful dirty-blond haired girl who's only 14 years old with light blue eyes, and wearing her usual brown dress. As the wind outside whipped through her long locks, she only shivered in response while barefoot, looking for a missing little boy about 6 years old to bring him back to his own family.

Monica: "Come on... where are you at, kid?"(Said to herself while walking in the woods, hoping to find Jeremiah in there while rubbing her arms to keep warm)

After several minutes has passed while Monica heads deeper into the woods, she heard a little boy's scream somewhere.

Jeremiah: "Help me!!!! Someone!!!!"(Cried out in tears while trying to back away from the wolves while he's on the frozen lake)

Monica:  (Started running at the source of Jeremiah's voice, heart pounding and saw the scene before her eyes as they widened)"I'm coming, kid."(Said to the boy before grabbing a branch (Hint, hint, her future Winter Staff) that was in the snow, running towards the kid)"Hang in there, Jeremiah!!!!"

The wolves growled and snarled at the sight of the older girl, charging towards her as she dodged their attacks as the best she could. Only gained a few painful scratches on her form, and hit all 6 of them with the branch unconscious from earlier before running towards the young boy.

Jeremiah: (Flinched in fear hearing a couple of cracks under his feet of ice cracking)"Monica!!!! I'm scared!!!!"

Monica: "I know, Jeremiah, but you've got to believe and trust in me right now. Think you can do that for me?"(Asked him as she slowly stepped on the frozen iced lake, having small cracks underneath her bare feet)

Jeremiah: (Nodded his head at her words before he took a deep breath)

Monica: "That's good, because we'll play hopscotch. The fun game you kids love to play every day."(Gave him a reassuring smile)"Just look at me, one..."(More cracks formed as she pretended to fall, keeping her balance)

Jeremiah: (Laughed at her silly way of making kids smile)

Monica: "Two..."(Took small steps forward, keeping the branch in her hands)"Three."(Only a couple of feet away from Jeremiah for now)"Okay, now it's your turn. One..."

Jeremiah: (A few more cracks form at his feet, giving the young boy fear)

Monica: "Two... three!"(She said to get closer to him, as she used the branch to get Jeremiah onto land with plenty of snow to give him a comfy landing)

Jeremiah: (Smiled at Monica in relief seeing himself not on the frozen lake anymore, but on land!)

Monica: (Gently smiled back at Jeremiah before all cracks of the lake became weak enough to make her drown into the coldest waters below the surface)

Jeremiah: "Monica!!!!"(Yelled out to her as the 14 year old girl sacrificed herself to save his own life from dying before running back to the village for the adults to try and get Monica out of the lake)

Monica: (While drowning and running out of air from life, her eyes slowly closed from seeing the full moon, now being wrapped in darkness underwater, not knowing of what her "new fate and life" would be on that very night)
