Like The Waves [A Lisoo Story]

Chapter 3

They set up their things on the couches after eating. It is getting very dark and very cold. Jisoo is shivering and Lisa notices this. She rummages through her bags and finds an extra jacket and gives it to Jisoo.

"Thanks." Jisoo replied with a smile.

Her smile, it was so special. It was able to immediately warm Lisa up, she blushed a little before huddling up with Jennie, Chaeyoung and Jisoo.

"What are you guys talking about?" Lisa asked, curious to know.

"We're just talking about how we didn't know Chaeyoung's dad was a fisherman before he became a banker." Jennie tells her.

"Really?" Lisa exclaimed.

"What about you, Jisoo? I don't even know what your parents do." Chaeyoung asked her.  

Jisoo had preferred to keep to herself and doesn't really talk much about herself.

"Uhm... my dad is a chef, my mum passed away a few years back." Jisoo said softly.

"We should get your dad to cook for us someday." Lisa said.

"Let's all get ready for bed, it's getting late." Chaeyoung spoke.

They take turns going to the bathroom. Then, Lisa and Jisoo stay on a couch while Jennie and Chaeyoung stay on another.

In the middle of the night, Lisa wakes up, unable to go back to sleep, so she decided to go on the deck. 

"Oh fuck, why is the boat still moving even after we anchored it." Lisa said to herself before rushing below the deck and waking everybody up.

"What the- what time is it?" Chaeyoung rubbed her eyes.

"There's no time for that, the boat is still moving even after we anchored it." Lisa tells them

They all rush onto the deck.

"The anchor probably unchained itself for some reason." Chaeyoung said while looking around.

"What are we gonna do?" Jennie asked.

"Do any of you guys have your phones?" Lisa asked. "Mine's dead."

"Mine's dead as well." Chaeyoung tells them.

"I have mine." Jisoo said. "But there's no signal."

"Same." Jennie sighs.

"We just have to try and find land. We should follow the birds and stay in one direction." Chaeyoung said before steering into the bird's direction. The sky is still dark outside, not much is visible.

Lisa notices Jisoo looking very pale.

"Hey, you okay?" Lisa walked beside Jisoo.

"Yeah, just sea sickness." Jisoo replied softly.

"You should go rest." Lisa said before grabbing her hand and taking her back inside the boat.

She finds a towel in her backpack and puts warm water on it before placing the towel onto Jisoo's head. She also covers Jisoo with a blanket since it is still cold.
