A: "So, how was New Austin?"

"Dusty but good. We made some good money, probably just enough to get us out of this, though."

D: "Whatever it is, I'm sure it will help."

We continued on through the storm, eventually we spotted a light in the distance.

D: "You up ahead! Who's there?"

The light grew until a man appeared from the foggy snow,

D: "Micah."

M: "Gentlemen, and lady."

I had only heard of Micah through Arthur's letters, and from what he told me, I already disliked him.

D: "Found anything?"

M: "I think so. Found a little homestead down thataway."

D: "Okay. Anyone home?"

M: "Sure. Place is blazing with light and noise. Sounded like a party."

D: "Let's go see."

We followed him deeper into the storm. After a freezing minute, we came to a fence, a house in the near distance. We hitched our horses behind some trees, far enough away to be out of sight.

Dutch dismounted, "Let me handle this. We don't want to spook these fine people."

We started for the house, noise erupting from it.

M: "Sounds like quite the party."

D: "You three, get yourselves out of sight, one lonely man is a lot less intimidating than three nasty looking degenerates plus one. Micah, hide behind that wagon. Arthur, Kym, you take that old shed to the left. And stay low, all of you."

Arthur and I crouched behind the shed, our heads poking out just enough to watch Dutch's 6.

He walked up to the door before screaming a 'hello'

The door opened,

D: "Oh well, hello friend."

O: "Whatchu want?"

D: "I am very sorry to disturb you. Uh, my friends and I, well, we got into some... trouble up the way. Lost in the storm."

O: "We can't help you mister."

M: "Arthur... Arthur, we got a problem."

I glanced to where Micah was stationed, he was looking under a tarp,

M: "There's a corpse right here."

"You've gotta be kidding me..."

M: "Arthur, there's a body in the wagon."

A: "I hear you, just... keep your eyes on Dutch."

Arthur and I pulled our guns, taking out the murderers in front of us.

D: "Damnit, I said I'd handle this!"

A: "Didn't seem to be goin' too well."

"At least not for that poor bastard in the wagon."

D: "Goddamn O'Driscoll's boys here? Why?"

M: "I don't know, maybe same reason as us."

D: "Micah, go bring the horses closer to the house. Arthur, Kym, let's go search the cabin."

We walked into the warm house,

A: "Smells like a party in here."

D: "Turn the place upside down, grab as many supplies as you can. We need the essentials. Food, medicine... whiskey."
