Chapter 5: The Check Out

Five months have passed they announced to everyone that Inuyasha and Kagome are having another baby, Kagome seems to have back pain every night. She has read all the books that she got from Towa that she got from the modern era and tried her best to sleep in the most beneficial position, but it doesn't seem to work all the time. So it was normally up to Inuyasha to massage the pain away, which results in the both of them not getting as much sleep as they need to.

So right they went to go see Kaede and check out what Kagome's back problem was about. However, Inuyasha and Kagome sat together as they watched the old priestess and Rin checked the pregnancy. Although it reminded Kagome of when she was at the hospital when she was in her time era. The two married couples looked at each other then looked at Kaede and Rin, waiting for them for an answer. Also want to know what Kagome's pain back was about.

Kaede began, "Kagome, Inuyasha, I have some great news. Ever since you have had a back problem for a couple of days, I think you are having--"

"You two are going to have twins!" Rin exclaimed happily.

"Yes!" Inuyasha said happily then he and Kagome froze in surprise when they said it at the same time, "What!? Twins!?"

"Yep. I said it before: you two are going to have twins. Surprise." Rin chuckled nervously as Kaede sweatdropped.

Kagome gasped as her eyes gone widened, "You're kidding me, right!?"

"Since when did you learn that, Rin!?" Inuyasha shouted in shock.

"I was going to ask her a same question, Inuyasha." Kaede murmured.

Rin giggled, smiling. "I've learned it from Towa when she has been in the modern era for a while." Then she showed them a textbook, "Also, I have learn more about the textbook as well."

Inuyasha sweatdropped. "Y-You're joking, right!?"

"So, Kagome, how is your pain back?" Sango asked as she was collecting some herbs with Kagome.

She sighed in frustration. "Awful. And guess what, Sango? You'll never going to believe what we're having."

"What is it, Kagome?" Sango asked, giving her a curious look.

"We're going to have twins."

Her eyes gone widened. "Are you serious? How is that impossible? And how did Kaede know that you're having twins?"

Kagome chuckled nervously as she sweatdropped. "Actually, it was Rin who learned from Towa's textbook."

"I see... Wait, don't tell me! Is Towa having a baby!? I mean, it would be awful for a fifteen year girl by having a baby... Sesshomaru would not like that." Sango said with a worried look.

"What? No! Towa probably wanted to be a nurse when she gets older." Kagome replied.

"Oh, I can see now." Sango chuckled, "And I thought Towa is expecting."

"So, Inuyasha, how is Kagome?" Miroku asked as he approached him.

Inuyasha gave him a glaring look. "I hope lechering about Kagome."

"No, I mean how is Kagome and the baby." Miroku said in a stern voice.

"Oh, well, um... Kagome and I were going to have twins." Inuyasha told him.

His violet widened eyes in shock. "Twins!? This is bizarre! No wonder why you guys have two-timing while Kagome has given you a schedule."

Inuyasha growled at him in anger. "Shut up, monk!"

"Good luck, brother." Sesshomaru chuckled as he appeared from the dark forest as he and Jaken are walking around.

"Shut up, Sesshomaru! You and Rin have twins! Oh, yeah! Half-demon girls as well and we thought you don't like being around with humans!"

"Silence! Never speak to Lord Sesshoomaru that way! He has his reasons!" Jaken scolded him.

"Jaken, lets go." Sesshomaru ordered.

"Yes, Milord!" Jaken cried out as he continued to follow him.

Miroku smirked at him. "Congrats, Inu."

Inuyasha growled in frustration with his arms crossed, "I hate you all..."
