Chapter 6: The Pain

Kagome has reached eight months of pregnancy when agony and suffering begin... 
Inuyasha yawned as he scratched his left dog ear as saw Kagome glaring while sitting on the futon with arms crossed. 
"Sorry for crashing on the couch, Kags. I just couldn't sleep well because the babies kept kicking all night." Inuyasha said tiredly. 
"You don't say..." Kagome growled in anger. Inuyasha sweatdropped to hear her angry voice.

Kagome wailed in frustration and anger, "I don't think I could take another bite of stew! I want ice cream! And I want it now!" She cried out that making Inuyasha and Moroha flinched. 
"Dad, what's wrong with Mom?" Moroha asked, giving him a serious look. 
Inuyasha chuckled nervously as he rubbed the back of his head. "Your mom is having another back pain, honey. So let's not ask about it. I'll have to handle your mother. It will take a while when the babies arrive, so she won't stop whining about it. "
"I heard that!" Kagome shouted. Inuyasha and Moroha flinched in fear.

Kagome sobbed while throwing her tantrum, while Inuyasha was awake. "Ow! My wrists and ankles are swollen! First my back! Now my fricking ankles and wrists! Inuyasha! Please help me!"
Inuyasha groaned in exhaustion and was annoying. But he knows that Kagome is still pregnant because he has to deal with her pregnancy. He never knows when Kagome to stop whimpering in pain.

"Great news, everyone! Setsuna and Hisui are finally getting married! So we'll have to prepare for their wedding." Rin announced happily as she stood beside her husband Sesshomaru and Jaken. 
"That's great news, Rin. We can't wait to see those two getting married." Inuyasha said happily. 
"Oh, Inuyasha, what if someone will notice me when they'll think that I looked fat?" Kagome said, giving him a fake smile as she squeezed his wrist tightly that making Inuyasha flinch in pain.  
"Please help..." Inuyasha pleaded with them quietly. 
"Oh, Kagome. Nobody is calling you fat. They'll figure that you're pregnant. I promise." Rin said, smiling at her sister-in-law. 
"You think so?" Kagome asked. 
"Yep," Rin replied. 
"Then that is great to hear, Rin!" Kagome exclaimed excitedly, sounding angrier. 
Inuyasha sweatdropped. "Way to go, Rin. Now you just made Kagome angrier."
