- Well then, what do you want to do now?

Ei asked. Sara looked around, and saw some games on a table.

- That wasn't there yesterday.

Sara mumbled, but she took the games on to the bed anyway.

- How about this?

- Okay, I want to play this.

Ei pointed to a card game. Sara opened the box, and read the instructions out loud.

- (You know the rules of uno)

- Seems simple enough.

Ei said as Sara passed out the cards. The two played for what seemed like 10 minutes when it was an hour.
- Ei, if I...well, had to leave you, forcefully, of course, would you understand?
Sara asked, when the two were snuggling together after the card matches.
- What? Why would you say that? Is someone blackmailing you?
Ei asked, concern and slight anger in her tone.
- No. I'm just...curious.
Sara tried her best not to say yes and explain to Ei how Sara was going to hurt her, not on purpose of course.
- Well, a peculiar question you have. One, it depends. Two, I pray to archons that will never happen.
Ei kissed Sara gently, and Sara almost cried when she thought about what she had to do. No. Stop thinking about the future, Sara. Think about the present. Make your last day with Ei count. Sara scolded herself, and kissed Ei again. Ei's hands found her back and started moving up and down. Sara grabbed desperately onto Ei's hair, not wanting to let go. Suddenly, Ei pulled away.
- Sara. Is something bothering you?
Ei asked, placing a hand on Sara's cheek.
- Nothing. I promise.
It stung to lie. Sara gulped down a handful of guilt, and Ei sighed.
- If something is bothering you, please tell me. I would do anything to help.
Sara choked back a sob. Ei was making this whole process one hundred times harder than it already was. Before Sara knew it, night was upon them. At around late night, Ei and Sara heard a knock on the room door.
- Hello~ Thought I'd swing by and bring you both some food.
The pink-haired fox leaned on the doorframe, a tray of food in her hand. On it was all of Sara's favorite foods and a lot of treats, for Ei.
- Since when do you care about that, Miko?
Ei growled at the lady, and Miko faked a hurtful expression.
- That's rude! Hmph, you should be nicer to the person who's serving you food, Ei.
Miko sarcastically replied, and placed the tray of food on a table next to the bed.
- Enjoy your meal~ It will be your last with your lover so cherish it.
Miko whispered, but Sara heard it. She turned to see if Ei heard it too, but Ei was too busy glaring daggers at Miko. Sara gritted her teeth, and inhaled sharply. Before Miko left, she did a gesture tapping on her wrist. It roughly translated to "Time is running out." With every minute passing, Sara felt like she was going to break. Thinking about what would happen to Sara if she left her only love, and what Ei would think. Sara prayed that Ei wouldn't think that she betrayed her. Right after finishing Ei finished her sweets, Ei lied down on the bed and turned her back on Sara.
- Ei? You're already sleeping?
Ei turned.
- Yes. I want to forget that pink hypocrite's face.
She grumbled. Sara didn't want Ei to go to sleep. If she does, Sara will have to say goodbye sooner. And that was the last thing she wanted.
- Ei, how about we do something?
- I want to sleep though. Can you cuddle with me?
Ei asked, spreading her arms for Sara. Sara sighed, and with a tear she crashed into Ei's arms.
- Huh? Sara, are you crying?
Ei quickly raised Sara's chin and wiped off her tears.
- No, just a yawn.
Sara replied, even though she knew Ei did not buy it. Ei's perfect facial features had creases out of worry.
- Are you sure? You can tell me anything.
Sara nodded, and buried her face into the crook of Ei's neck, trying her best to keep in the building sadness. In Ei's arms, Sara drifted off to sleep faster than she wanted to. Sara wanted to stay in Ei's arms forever. At what seemed to be the middle of the night, Sara felt a shake.
- Sara~ wakie wakie!
She immediately recognized the voice. Miko.
- Now?
- You asked for a day, I gave you a day.
Miko smiled smugly and pulled Sara up.
- You are sleeping with me tonight.
Miko whispered in Sara's ear. Sara tried her best not to blow a punch to Miko's face. With a poof, Sara and Miko were teleported to where Sara assumed was Lady Miko's chambers. The room was pink. That was all there was. Pink and white walls. The furniture were pink, and a little too much. Miko pulled Sara to her bed and wrapped her sly arms around Sara, much to Sara's comfortability.
- Good night, love~
Miko said, her lips only centimeters away from touching Sara's. Sara inhaled sharply and thought to herself that this was for Ei. All for Ei's own good.
