Kujou Sara, general of the Kujou Clan, is a loyal servant to the Raiden Shogun. She has been serving the Raiden Shogun almost her whole life. One day though, she felt something towards the Raiden Shogun...Something that was not respect, but something different. Something that makes butterflies in her stomach, and something that makes her warm and fuzzy whenever she's by the Raiden Shogun's side.

Raiden Shogun, also known as Ei, has two sides of herself. Well, not two sides, one was considered a puppet for the real Electro archon, Ei. But lately, the puppet seemed to develop its own self as it continues to serve Ei. The puppet has grown an interest in the general of the Kujou Clan. Ei was curious about this general, and when she met her, it was like her breath stopped for a brief moment.

Sara knew about the Raiden Shogun's existence, and Ei. She was confused by it, but also troubled her. When the time comes, where does her loyalty lie? Sara decided not to think about it for right now. She was practicing her aim and combat skills, but then she got distracted, and fell on somebody.

- Who- Y-Your Excellency! My deepest apologies! I was being ignorant and fell onto you! Please forgive me!

Sara kneeled on one knee, and felt a bead of sweat drip down.

- Rise. What were you thinking about?

Her Excellency asked. Sara replied:

- Nothing, Your Excellency. I merely lost balance like a clumsy fool.

Her Excellency nodded.

- Ei wants to talk to you, General. Would you be up for some tea?

- Ei? I mean, of course, Your Excellency.

- Great, come now, we have no time to lose.

They arrived at Tenshukaku, the Raiden Shogun's palace.

- Have a seat.

Sara sat down, and Her Excellency closed her eyes. Then opened her eyes again. But instead of dark, purple, dangerous, almost mechanical eyes of the Raiden Shogun, these eyes seemed...brighter.

- Kujou Sara.

- Your Excellency.

- Please call me Ei when we are alone, and when I am present.

- Of course...Ei.

The name made butterflies in her stomach. She wasn't sure why, but she felt happy being able to say it. After all, it was the person that saved her life when she was young. (if you dont know then Sara was saved by the Raiden Shogun after falling off a cliff from a young age, read it in how she got her Vision)

- Ei, what did you want to talk about?

Sara asked.

- I need you to do me a personal favor, Sara.

- What is it, Ei?

- I know you have a monthly visit to the Grand Narukami Shrine, and I need you to give this to Miko.

Ei gave her a piece of parchment rolled up into a scroll.

- Of course, Ei.

Sara stood up and was about to go when Ei held her wrist, taking Sara by surprise and making her blush.

- Where are you going?

- T-to deliver the parchment.

- Stay, you don't have to do it now.

Sara sat back down as Ei poured some tea.

- Sara, I believe you should be rewarded for your loyalty throughout the Vision Hunt Decree.
