Chapter 8

Tori's POV
My parents and sister didn't even buy me anything for my birthday. No one cares. That's why I don't like celebrating my birthday. I was sitting on my own and crying. "Ugh, tori, no one cares it's your birthday." Trina said. "Oh really?" I asked. "Yes. You're unwanted." Trina said. She always says that to me. Trina walked away and I saw my idol walking towards me. "Hi." I said. I got up to walk away. He grabbed my arm gently. "Don't go." He said and I sat back down. I silently cried. I hate being the disappointment but there's nothing I can do to change their minds. "Here." Beck said. I looked at what he gave me and it was an autograph. "Thank you." I said. "You're welcome. Now, what's wrong?" He asked. I just cried. "It's my birthday today." I said. "Then, why are you sad? It should be a happy occasion." He said. "No one cares that it's my birthday." I said and cried. "Okay, I'm going to take you shopping tonight and you can buy whatever you want. On me." He smiled. "Are you sure?" I asked. He nodded. I'm so grateful for him.

Beck's POV
I had to make her feel included. Especially on her birthday. I don't think it's fair that her family doesn't even acknowledge their own daughter's birthday. That sister of hers is a right bitch too. I'm taking Tori shopping tonight and I'm going to spoil her rotten. She deserves it. I headed to Karaoke Dokie to get something to eat. "Hi, can I get a takeaway burger?" I asked the waitress. "Of course." The waitress smiled and walked away. "Omg! You're beck Oliver!" One of the waitresses said. She looked like one of the girls I saw Tori talking to when I first came here. "I am. You're Tori's friend, right?" I asked. She smiled. The waitress came back with my order. I left the karaoke bar and went home for a bit. I am so excited to make Tori feel like a princess. I decided to chill in my bedroom for a bit. "Hey son." Dad said. "Hey honey." Mom said. "You look nice. Going on a date?" Dad asked. "No, dad. I'm taking a friend shopping." I said. I went to my bedroom after that little interrogation. I really hope that Tori enjoys it because I want her to feel like a princess.
