Chapter 9

Jade's POV
I'm currently chilling at Andre's house with Andre. We're still dating. "Babe, you've done amazing this week." Andre said. "Do you think Tori's going to be okay?" I asked. "Andre, your mother and I are headed out." Mr Harris said. "Okay, dad." Andre said with his arm around my shoulders. Andre's parents get on with me quite well. His grandma loves me. I'm the only person she doesn't scream at. I love Andre. Beck texted me that he will be taking Tori shopping tonight and spoiling her rotten. That is so sweet.

Tori's POV
I'm at home getting ready for Beck to pick me up, I feel like a Princess. "Ugh, you stink, freak." Trina said. "Leave me alone." I said. "Is that one of my dresses?" Trina asked angrily. "Tori! Take that off now!" Mom yelled. "Take Trina's dress off before I rip it off!" Dad yelled. "But I need something nice for tonight." I said. "I don't care. You look like a slut." Trina said. "Off. Now!" Mom yelled. "You know what? Fuck this." Trina said, she grabbed the urn that had my grandma's ashes in and threw it at me. I'm covered in ashes. I don't think I want to go to the mall now. I texted Beck and told him that I don't want to go to the mall. The doorbell rang. "I'll get it." I said. It was Hayley. "Hey Hayley, come in." I said. "I thought you were going to the mall." Hayley said. I explained everything and she helped me out of Trina's dress and gave me one of her dresses to wear. She left a little after but I was so thankful for her. I decided to go to the mall anyway. Beck texted me saying he was coming anyway. He arrived and I got into his car without saying a word. "Hey, what's wrong?" He asked. "Nothing," I said. We got to the mall and we walked around. "Tori, are you sure you're alright? Why aren't you wearing that dress you showed me?" Beck asked. "Because it's covered in my grandma's ashes!" I snapped. "Oh no, what happened?" He comforted me as I cried. "My sister threw my grandma's ashes at me." I explained. I hate being the family freak show.
