Kysons pov

Malik's sister, Lexi, and Eva spent all day calling authorities and families trying to return the lost children. I glanced out the window to see Achilles with Arron.

As Achilles had taught Arron how to pick locks and how to start a fire with just sticks.
I walked outside to hear both boys giggling.

As Achilles held Arron and was tickling him. Achilles was laughing softly, and Arron's sheiks and giggles.
It made my heart flutter. I knew he didn't think I was there.

He was so gentle with all the children. It was evident he would never harm kids just for fun...

He was so gentle...I adored him for it.
I cleared my throat, as I watched him tense up.
He turned around to face me. His body became tense in a more protective stance.

He pushed his chest out, standing slightly taller.
"Arron...your mom is here...she's waiting for you." I gave him a small smile as his face lit up. As he squirmed, Achilles put the tiny boy down. We both followed after him as he ran into the house.

The more petite lady had the same blue eyes as he did. She had tears streaming down her face as she sobbed. Picking up her little boy. She held the back of his head while hugging him tightly.

"Oh, thank you, prince Kyson, thank you. I can never repay you. Thank you so much for returning my baby boy," She spoke while sobbing.

"I actually can't take the credit...Achilles saved the children...without him...we may not have saved them..." I spoke with honesty. I had no clue what their plans were with Arron...he may have been killed...as a warning if it wasn't for Achilles.

She stood up, wrapping her arms around Achilles. I could visibly see him tense as she hugged him.
But he eased into it.

"Thank you so much for saving, my son. May the universe bless you, and if there is anything I can ever do to repay you...please, please tell me." She told Achilles with wide, teary eyes. Achilles held a cold face the whole time, giving her a slight nod. Not letting any emotions get to him.

Arron hugged Achilles' legs, "thank you!" Arron smiled, forcing Achilles' cold face to lighten up a bit.

"Of course, bud, if you ever need anything, I'll be there for you, okay?" Achilles ruffled his hair before he turned to leave the room.

He winked at me before heading upstairs. After Arron and his mom left, they had to file some reports with the officers. The sun had started to set as it grew dark out.

I went up to Achilles' room. I knocked on the door softly as I opened it. He quickly slipped his black mask back on.

He walked up to me, shutting the door behind me, before backing me against the door.
"Gonna yell at me? For not listening, princey?" He said with a dark tone, completely different than what it was moments ago.

It caught my breath as my words came out in a stutter. "I-I uhm..."

"Or did that prove to you? That I'm not mass murder." Our bodies were inches apart. I could feel the heat radiating off his body.

"Y-you should've stayed in your uhm...room." I stuttered, beginning to avoid eye contact.

He grabbed my chin, which sent sparks through my body. Sparks that made me want to grind into him...
Did he feel it too?

"And I didn't...so what are you going to do about it? You're just a weak...little boy..." he said in a seductive tone. It made a small whimper escape my lips. My face went bright red with embarrassment, as I could tell a sly smirk was under his dark mask.

"Go ahead, princey. Tell me, what are you going to do about it? Awh...cat got your tongue?" He continued to tease me.

"I-I'm in control! Y-you n-need to listen to me!" I stuttered.

"Oh, darling...I'm everything you can't control." His words made my heart pound in my chest. My knees felt weak. My voice was lost entirely. No comments were able to form.

Achilles knew he won. He left me speechless. He backed away, pulling off his shirt, and replacing it with a clean one the maids had gotten him.

I quickly left the room, trying to catch my breath.

In the kitchen, Malik was with Lexi and Eva.

"Okay, but if Kacy is there, Spencer will surely come," Lexi complained as they sat around the table. Talking with each other.

"What's going on?" I questioned, sitting next to Malik.

"Well, when mom and dad go into Fall Havens for that meeting, we're gonna throw a huge party." Eva filled me in.

"We were just gonna invite everyone from Citview high." Malik shrugged.
Citview high was our town's high school, but it was private and only for royalty.

It also had shorter school years and days because most of us had responsibilities.

But to me...it was hell because everyone there thought they were better than everyone else.
And I was not too fond of it. I don't care where you rank in royalty...

"When are we doing this...mom and dad leave tomorrow morning?" I asked, raising my eyebrow at my sister.

"Tomorrow night. Maybe even a little celebration for our victory today." She gives me a small smile. She hopped up, getting a glass of water. When she returned, she draped her arms around Lexi, standing behind her.

"It'll be so much fun. My parents are going with your parents, and the guards are already aware. They don't care," Malik chuckled.  "Kacy and Alex are gonna bring the alcohol." He added.

I pinched the bridge of my nose. I did not want to spend tomorrow night with a bunch of drunk teenagers who think they are better than everyone else...

It was going to be absolute hell...

After talking with everyone about the party, I made my way into my bedroom. I crashed onto the bed, falling asleep almost instantly. My body ached from today.

I couldn't help but think about how happy Achilles was with Arron.
Thinking about how his touch lit me up, it was a completely different feeling than any girl I've ever been with...

It was a pull. It was drastic.

My only fear...is he'll never feel the same.
No matter how hard I try...

When do I give up?...
