I frowned at my phone. Barely a minute later, I chided myself. The guy could be busy.

I decided to give Niall his space. Just because I happened to be free, does not mean everyone was. "Liam! Quick! Let's go go goooo!" screamed Harry.

I just shook my head. Curly Harry never understood what was his indoor voice. I grabbed my wallet, glasses and left the room, bolting the door behind me. We had band practice in a bit and it was bound to last till night. I grabbed a banana on the way out too. Barely ate anything since Louis cooked and his cuisine was just, let's say, highly unconsumable.

(hours later)

We had a manic good time at practice as usual. We had this unspoken synrchony and chemistry that was palpable and heart thumping. We nailed our practice as usual and Paul was immensely happy as always.

We left the studio in high spirits. Took my phone out and I realized there was still no reply from Niall. A slight frown crossed my face but I decided not to read too much into it. He was still busy, I suppose.

(days later)

I was having a great time in Ireland so far and it was a beautiful country. Nothing could have marred my experience, except maybe one Irish dude has not replied to any of my messages.

Could I have saved his number wrongly?

I just shook my head as usual and wrapped my shawl around me. It was freezing and I quickly hurried towards the Starbucks. I kept my head down as the cold was biting me when 'OOOOFFFF'! I looked up, horrified, wanting to apologize desperately to the one I had knocked into when my voice faltered.

It was Perry.

Perry, who I had dated when I was in high school. Perry who had broken my heart when he decided he was not gay.

Perry who had proven to me what I had been denying. That I loved guys.

With Perry, was Niall.

Gorgeous eyes Niall, who had his hand around Perry at that very moment.
