It is never easy apologizing but when I was in the wrong, I had better do it.

I saw the guy flinch at my touch but that was expected, I guess.

I tried to soften the look in my eye, hoping that he could see I was being thankful, apologetic and friendly if my eyes could show all at the same time. Just as I opened my mouth,

"Its ok. I would not exactly do that but I did look a bit stupid earlier gesticulating. So its ok. You dont have to apologise. And no problem."

That freaking dude just took the words out from my mouth. Was he psychic or just being a dad? GOD, HE SOUNDED LIKE MY DAD and I had enough of my dad. I sure didnt need another.

I stared at him as he turned away and suddenly my hand shot out again, grabbing him by his wrist. He turned around, baffled and shocked and this time, I threw out my words before he could get a word in.

"Dude, do not go around stealing my words out from my mouth. You sound like my dad and I ONLY NEED one. By the way, thank you for the alert and sorry for the stare earlier. And never again, do that. That POMPOUS BEHAVIOR".

I just rattled off and then settled comfortably into my seat, blasting my music. I could still feel his eyes upon me and  a small smile twitched at the corners of my mouth but boy, he needed to know that no one ever tried being pompous with an Irish dude,  especially with me.
