In my FINlit class,
We learned about the economic crisis of scarcity.
Now, no, I am no politician( I would be a terrible one),
but I am a part of this world, so yeah,
I do participate. (Woo-hoo, go participation! Yeah-nah,screw the optimism.)
Anyho, the problem of scarcity is a
condition that we have unlimited needs and wants
But
With Limited resources.
Things are scarce.
One of the human needs that we can't live without is water.
And the bad thing is there is only 1% of the water in the world is fresh.
DONT FREAK OUT! The world is so big, there is still enough water for everyone.
We are privileged to have clean water straight from the tap.
With a twist of the faucet,
A flick of a wrist,
We get a cool refeeshment.
We are lucky compared to
A person halfway across the world who has to lug
A heavy jug of water
Underneath a unmerciful sun
Miles from
A well to home.
Humans can't live without water.
There is always something to be grateful for.
I am grateful for water.
Thank you.
