Ive watched him
Throw his head back and laugh out loud.
His eyes the colour of the sky on a beautiful spring day.

I've watched him
Care and nurture.
His orbs filled with that touch of gentleness, you cannot describe.

I've watched him
Stand straight and proud.
His eyes of full of burning passion and accomplishment.

I've seen him
Bit his lip after he fell off the tree.
They were watery with the sheer pain.

I've also seen him
Slump his shoulders and wallow in sadness.
They were dark, stormy, and hollow.

But I've could never stand to see him
Look into my eyes that time.
I had to glance away because I could not bear
That raw agony and heartbreak in his beautiful blue eyes.
