~Els POV~
I was watching the sun rise from his window. It was beautiful. The sky was turning orange and beams of light shot into the room. He was still snoring. Blanket rapped around his body like a baby.
I didn't feel the same when I looked at him anymore, I used to get butterfly when he touched me and I always wanted him to touch me. It was like I was desperate for his approval. And now I feel cold. I wasn't even exited when he told me I could sleep over, I was actually annoyed . I turned around and stared out the window. The world was waking and then I saw someone skating toward his house. Her. I don't know why I hated her so much but it's like every time she talks I just can't stand it.
~Max's POV~
I skated towards mikes house. He had invited the party over because el was sleeping at his and he thought we could go see a movie. I was the first one there, I had arrived 1 hour before everyone because me and my mum got in a fight, so i thought it was a good excuse. I was kind of exited being early so I can hang out with El. She had been ignoring me since I joined the party. I don't know what I did to her for her to hate me. I walked towards the door and rang the bell waiting for Mike or his mum to open the door but when it swang open I saw El standing there staring at me like I was a demogorgon.
'Hi!' I said. Smiling at her.
'Why are you here,' she stared at me. I didn't know what to say. I thought she knew I would be here.
' Umm Mike invited me here to-
'Mike invited you here?' She sounded like she was going to throw up saying that.
'Yeh, he invited the party to his house for games and movies cause you were sleeping over, didn't he tell you?' I asked. Why wouldn't he tell her.
'I know the party is coming here, but your not in the party,' I stood there speechless. She really thought I wasn't part of the party
'just come in.'
She grabbed my arm and pulled me into the house.
~Els POV~
I sat at the kitchen table. Max in front off me. She wasn't part of the party. She wasn't. I always thought she would take Mike from me. That's why I pushed her off her skate board when I first saw her. I don't even know why I care, it's like I don't even like him anymore but he can't leave. She opened her mouth to say something but then didn't. I didn't know why I was disappointed to not hear her voice. Ugh. We heard footsteps down the stairs and then Mike appeared in front of us. Still in pjs and with messy hair. He almost looked cute. And then.... 'Max!'
