KYLE'S POV:

"So guess what happened today mom?" I asked trying to hide a smile I could feel creeping across my face, "Liam and I went somewhere a little different today, we took a further drive to this brand new sports complex and soccer fields, and we..."

"We saw Tim Cahill! And he wants to come see our grand final this weekend!" I hear Liam scream with a major smile already upon his blushing face.

I drop my cutlery and stare at him with no expression, "Oi liam!.. I was telling her," I say blankly.

"Sorry Kyle, I was just so excited.." He says suddenly loosing his smile.

"Haha, it's okay buddy, but As he said, Tim Cahill is coming down and he is bring sponsors to watch how our team plays! They have 2 open spots to a Britain College with soccer, well "football" scholarships, and they will be looking to see if we deserve one!" I say bringing the smile back to both of our faces.

"Oh boys I am so overly proud of you two! I always knew you were destined for a big career in your sport. Well done the both of you" mom says getting up and hugging us both.

"Hehe, thanks mom," we both say as we hug her back.

"Alright, wash up and go get some sleep for your big game in the morning, sweet dreams my babies," mom says still grinning with excitement.

"Mommmm, we aren't 10 anymore," Liam yells back with a chuckle, "goodnight."

We race up stairs to see who gets the shower first. We both bust through the bathroom doors racing over to the shower. We stand there for 5 minutes, which in fact felt like forever, playing scissors paper rock, but no one wins. Then I hear Liam say with a cocky voice, "age before beauty then.." And leaves the bathroom with a huge sarcastic laugh.

"You're an idiot," I say laughing back, "goodnight Buddy."

"Goodnight Faggggg," I hear him string out to make sure I heard it.
Haha, what a little loser, I think to myself smiling, before undressing to get in the shower.

....

After I wash myself and the dry myself, I chuck on my jocks, and just stand there; looking at myself in the mirror. Then I hear words in my head, a voice, a confident voice, "Alright, you can do this, you can do this, tomorrow when you are out there on that pitch, you play with your heart on your sleeve. You show them everything you got, and do not leave that ground unless you know you gave it your all. You can do this, play your hardest and come away with the win you deserve. That scholarship is yours Kyle. Oh, nice abs too."

Finally my thoughts have all quieted down, and I'm settled and prepared for tomorrow, I leave to my room, having a think to the last sentence said, and look down and I can see my abs standing out in high definition, not to cocky but I must say my training has helped my game play and my figure, I laugh hard.

I have my final thoughts to myself about tomorrow's game and shut my eyes and fall swiftly asleep.

LIAM'S POV:

Tomorrow is going to be the best game we have ever played. It's ours for the taking.
"Goodnight Kyle, be prepared for tomorrow," I say to myself, before its my turn to fall into a deep, warming sleep.
