"I didn't expect to see you here again so soon..." Yuri said to me.
"Sorry I didn't give you a heads up Yuri, but I just wanted to see you again. If it wasn't for you I would be dead, and who knows where I would have ended up?" I explained, and Yuri smiled at my comment.
"It wasn't a problem... I'm usually not that straightforward with anyone, and I c-can't even remember the last time I yelled at someone like that." Yuri said, and then that is when her eyes started to sparkle.
"Is th-that the Book of Markov!? I love that book!"
"Mhm. It's been a very interesting read, Yuri. I was just reading my favorite chapter before you got here."
"Is it the chapter of the book where Sayo escapes from the religious camp? It's my favorite chapter too. The amount of emotion and wordplay impresses me every time I reread it... I hope one day my poetry conveys the same language used in the book..." Yuri described, and right after she said that my mind decided to play games with me.
"Yuri, can I grab you a cup of coffee sometime?" I asked Yuri, and right after I said that my blood started to boil.
Where did that come out of me? I haven't asked a girl out for a long time, and I never thought this was ever going to h-
"Sure, but can we go out for tea instead? It has more refreshing and relaxing ingredients compared to coffee. Oolong tea is honestly the best by far..." Yuri stated, and all of your fears were thrown into a burning pit.
Yuri and I were having such an amazing time together. I honestly thought she was a sister from another mother.
So the next day I and Yuri went to the cafe and we each bought oolong tea. To be honest, I never had tea or coffee for a long time, but I was willing to start drinking it again if Yuri liked it.
Turns out the tea made me feel like I was in complete Nirvana.
"Yuri this tastes amazing. I wish I knew how good it was years ago..." I told Yuri, and she nodded.
"It's breathtaking, but the best time to drink tea is when you write. It gives me total composure, and it breaks me free from any distractions. Say Y/N do you ever like to write?"
Writing? I could barely pick up a pen the past few weeks since I have been so stressed out after everything that happened. I mean I used to write poetry for Cynthia, but she told me writing poetry was a waste of time...
"I mean I used to write poetry for my ex-girlfriend, but she told me I was just wasting my time and simple words weren't going to excite her," I confessed to Yuri, and she sighed when she heard that.
"Some people just don't understand the work put into poetry... It may seem like lines of words to them, but deep down there is always a deeper meaning to even the shortest of poems."
Should I show her one of my poems? I mean it really doesn't rhyme compared to most poetry, but hey I still think it's still considered poetry.
"I know right... Even though most of my poems are about my past love for my ex-girlfriend..."
After meeting up with Yuri I felt like I met an angel, and it was like she was my soulmate. The Book of Markov was her favorite book, we both liked to make poetry, and we can both understand the deep meaning behind them. I hope I wasn't overcompensating, but this may be the start of a happy ending...
