Chapter 2

Lilly P.O.V

Weeks went by without laying eyes on Dereck , but in my mind he was the main tenant, one I could not evict. I tried ,but somehow I could not shake the bastard off. 

" Miss Philips, there's someone downstairs for you. She says her name is Yolanda."

Our housekeeper shouted outside my bedroom door, I was getting ready to out clubbing with a new friend I met at the gym . Me and her instantly connected and and we've been chatting on the socials for weeks.

"Coming now now, tell her I'll be down in five. Ohh and please offer her a drink so long."

I hurried up and put on my earrings and diamond necklace to go with the short red  strapless dress. I knew I looked good, dress was glued tight on my curves and the gold platform heels were the Flame.

I did a 360° spin on the closet mirror and finally exited my bedroom will all the confidence in the world. As soon as I set foot downstairs Yolanda screamed her lungs out like some crazy person. Jumping up and down , fanning herself with both hands and whatnots.

" Grrrlll yuz the Flayme, like I can't dzeal with you right now. Yhoo, you gorgeous."

She said excitedly, in a high pitched voice. I looked around for mother knowing she would disapprove of her behavior.

Ohh I could picture her curling her thick brown lips upwards to meet her nose as if something awful stank up the room, shaking her head and frowning. Mother was the queen of being uptight, she wanted me to ask like a 'proper' Lady especially in public.

" You need to contain your damn self! , Owk .... we need to go, like right now."

We said our goodbyes to Gladys and got inside an uber. We were planning on having fun and getting dead drunk so we decided not to drive our cars.

We arrived at club Tempo around 10pm and it was already full to the brim. We didn't wait in line since the owner was one of mother's business associates so we used the back door. The vibe inside the club was perfect and we started drinking cocktails to the max, before I knew it I was all warm giddy.

Just as I was about to order probably the hundredth round of cocktails I heard a familiar voice, instantly I was massively annoyed when I turned around I was met with his infuriating face.

And guess what, he was speaking to YOLANDA, my friend. Can you imagen.

" A drink for the most beautiful lady in this club.?"

Yolanda blushes and looks at me then looks back at him, she didn't know that we knew each other so I kept my drunk mouth shut. I didn't want to look like some jelaous  bitch.

So they sat next to me ordering drinks, chatting, giggling and sure as hell annoying the heck out of me. I felt like shit so I kept on drinking hoping to numb the pain away but that didn't work so I made excuse about my mom calling me home and left the club.

On my way home my tears burst out on their own will and I started ranting like a mad woman.

" That good for nothing piece of shit thinks he's something, like I need to be like by him. Does he know who I am? Like who the fuck that he think he is? Haahhh?"

At this point the Uber driver probably thought I was nuts.

" Don't mind him miss, you are a very pretty girl. I'm sure any man would like to be with you.

Poor guy was being tolerant and polite, it was 2am in the morning and I was ranting in his car.

" He thinks he's all that, walks around like he owns the fucken world but I tell right know HE AIN'T SHIT. I'm fucken Lililan Philips and any guy in town would kill to be with me. "

The driver gives me a bored look and sighs probably thinking I'm the worst.

And I was. Truly was the worst.

" I'll show him , you just see. What's your name?"

I was on a rool..

" Tim"

He answers with a low  bored tone. Couldn't blame him though.

" Tim I'll call you and tell you how it all goes down, you'll see. I RUN THE SOCIAL SCENE!! And he won't even recognize himself when I'm through with him".

By this time Tim had probably logged him self out of the conversation. Obviously realized I was full of shit and out of touch with reality.

Before long we were at my gate and I payed him, told him to keep the change.
After exiting the car I stumbled my way to the house and find my way to my bed.

Thank God mother never cought glimpse of my drunk ass.
