( hypocritical jealousy! )
season 1, episode 8
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
AFTER COMFORTING ELEVEN, nancy and jonathan dragged octavia on their adventure. the things needed for this operation were;
1. prepare the weapons.
2. screw lights on the wire.
3. set up bear traps.
4. and fucking win.octavia loaded the bullets into both her and nancy's gun. jonathan was in the other room hammering nails into a wooden bat. nancy was pouring gasoline throughout the whole house.
when all three teenagers were done doing their assigned tasks, they met up in the hallway to set up the last task. setting up the bear trap wasn't a one-man job, they needed all parties to help.

"remember." jonathan stated, waiting for the two girls to continue.
"straight into will's room. and-" nancy started.
"don't step on the trap."
"wait for the yo-yo to move." octavia helped.
"then." jonathan refers to his lighter that sparked up a flame. "you guys ready?" he looked between both girls, but had his trance on nancy the most. they take the knife that was in their pockets, then point them onto their palms.
"ready as i'll ever be." octavia sighs.
"one." jonathan started. "two." sensing nancy's discomfort, he reaches for concern. "you don't have to do this."
"jonathan, we need to do this." nancy says looking him deep in the eye. if it were any other moment than this, octavia would have teasingly smirked at her best friend.
"three." octavia cuts in, trying to get it over with. the end of the countdown made all three teenagers cut deep into their palms, the color of crimson red arising from their hands.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
octavia felt useless. jonathan and nancy were both bandaging each other up on the couch, while octavia had to do it herself. whenever she was around the two, she was always the third wheel.
octavia's head turned as she heard the faint sound of creaking from outside. this caught both nancy and jonathan's attention as well, "did you hear that?" nancy asks the group. octavia's eyes roamed around the room as if it came from in there.
