Remy briskly made his way towards the dorms as he parted ways with his best friend. He had just gotten his dorm key and his schedule for the year. Dorm 126. That was his dorm number. He silently prayed he didn't get a room with one of his bullies like he did every year. He wished boys and girls could just share rooms so he could just have Nevaeh as a Roommate. It's not like the two of them were going to do anything. He was gay and nowhere near Nevaeh type.
He put the key into the keyhole and rotate it. The door unlocks with a clicking noise, he pushes it open slightly and peeks in. The room was completely empty. The dorm was sat up neatly. He assumed his roommate hadn't made it to the room due to the emptiness of the dorm room. He set his stuff down and took the right side of the room. He rub his hand on the soft bed as he fell back onto it. The bed was pretty comfortable for a bed in a dorm room.'I guess this is my home for the year' he thought to himself.
The high school dorms were a little different from the dorms the middle schoolers had. The beds cover more ground than they did in the middle school dorms. There was a small area with a dark brown couch and a tv to the left of the bed. In the middle of the two beds lay a really small bathroom. The room was a rose brown color with some white thrown in there. There were weird line designs that were kind of like zig-zags on the wall. Remy took in the setting of the room. Adjusting to its looks. The room gave him a festive vibe.
It kind of reminds him of a room he had seen once in a dream he had. The dream he had was quite an eccentric site, even for a person like Remy. Someone was calling out his name as he followed the mysterious person's voice, they turn to look at him. The person didn't even seem to be a 'human'. They had pale-like vampire skin. They had shoulder-length hair and no eyes but this didn't frighten Remy. It felt like he was falling as he looked into the black holes that were supposed to be filled with eyes-balls. All of a sudden Remy was falling.
It was like the air had captured his body. He couldn't even feel his body anymore. His skin was like dust that was blowing through the wind. He didn't feel alive. He didn't think he was alive as he went further down then he woke up. Remy had a lot of strange dreams; they were probably actually nightmares from all the horror movies he watched. They never really bother him much. A lot of people had nightmares after watching a scary movie and he happened to be one of those people. It was weird to have nightmares of something that comforted you but Remy just guessed that he had a weird mind.
A loud clicking sound came from the front door of the dorm. The door opens making a loud brassy sound that makes Remy's ears ring in discomfort. There stood a boy with blonde hair who was holding a lot of bags and a flag that was Red. He breathed heavily as he made eye contact with Remy. Remy studied him and he looked like your stereotypical blonde boy with blue eyes. The boy was pretty short. He was probably around '5'5' or '5'6'. When Remy looked at the Bracelet on his arm he instantly know who he was.
Vincent Valley. He was Kade Ellis's best friend and he also helped out the nurse a lot. He had cleaned many of Remy's wounds. Remy was impressed by how fast his wound would heal when Vincent took care of them. He was one of the nicer people at Redwood the only problem was he didn't talk to anyone except for Kade and members of the color guard team. He was bullied for having a taste for more feminine things. What Remy never understood about the boy is he was still nice to people who hurt him.
After everything they did to him, he would still help them with their homework or injuries when they got hurt. The boy was way too nice for his own good. While guys mostly bullied him, girls found him adorable for his quote on quote 'Soft personality'. A few girls called him their gay best friend. Remy hated how they stereotype the boy to be gay just because of how feminine he was. From what he heard Vincent was straight and liked girls.
