Too Hard To Resist

Chapter 11: Early Hours

(Sadie has her drivers license, as she is 17 in this.)

After tossing and turning for almost an hour, it was still dark out as it was 5:30am. You woke up and checked to see if Millie was awake as you couldn't bare the thought of laying in bed any longer. Silently, you crept to her bedroom door and knocked it until you heard Millie's approval. She didn't reply, although you like to respect her privacy you decided to go in anyway. She was fast asleep just like you had expected.

Having no clue what to do, you went back to your room, got ready for the day and tidied up where you could.

Good morning, sorry it's early. Your probably still asleep but I wake up around this time xx

Good morning, I'm up. I couldn't sit in bed any longer. I'm waiting for Millie to wake up, so prob in like 2 hours xx

Sades 💕
I'm ready, do you want me to come pick you up? So you don't have to wait? xx

If you could, that would be great. I'll just write a note for Millie xx

Sades 💕
Of course darling. I'm on my way xx

You screamed internally trying to not wake anyone up at this ridiculous time in the morning. Although work didn't start till 8:00, you loved having Sadie for company. After writing Millie a note, you heard a faint engine outside. Sadie. You quickly rushed downstairs and headed out the door being as quiet as you could.

It was too dark to see inside the car where Sadie was sat, but you were sure of it that she has the biggest grin on her face.
"Good morning" Sadie greeted you.
"Good morning"
You pulled her in for a side hug, in which she did not hesitate.
"So, what do you want to do? Work doesn't start till 8"
Sadie questioned you as she turned the heaters up.
"Well... the sun doesn't rise until 6:15, so we could find a spot to watch it?"
You suggested.
"Perfect. I know just the spot"
Sadie pulled off the side of the road in front of your house.

Within a few minutes, Sadie had driven you to an opening in the woods. It had two wooden benches and a small pond. You hadn't been here recently, but you came here a lot when you were smaller. There were no clouds in the sky, all you could see was a sea of stars that would soon turn to pink and purple.
"Ready to go y/n?"
Sadie pulled you away from your thoughts.
"Yeah, sorry got lost in my thoughts"
You let out an airy laugh.
Sadie put her hand out, your face lit up with smile and you put your hand in hers before interlocking fingers.

Gradually, Sadie led you both to a bench. Soon after you had arrived, the sun began to seep through the bottom of the trees. It was a perfect orange. Like the colour of Sadie's hair. A pink and purple hue began to light up the edge of the sky. Silence fell as you both took in the scene.
"It's a bit like you" Sadie broke the silence.
"What do you mean?"
You laughed in confusion. She looked at the sunrise then back at you.
"Both beautiful and comforting"
That moment was the moment you fell even deeper in love with her. You moved closer into the comfort of Sadie.
As you both stared each other in the eyes and admired each other, the top of your heads were touching. It's the perfect opportunity. You decided to make the move and leaned in, placing a delicate kiss on her lips.
"Your everything I've ever dreamed of"
You complimented her back. Smiles were now planted on both of your faces. Sadie's head against your shoulder, and your arm around her waist pulling her in.

You just had your first kiss, with the beautiful girl that was Sadie Sink. The girl you could now call yours.
"As much as I want to sit here for eternity, we better get to set" Sadie laughed.
