Olivia sat there in shock. Anorexic? She thought. How could she not tell me this?
"You're... But, well, are you okay?
She shook her head, slightly lifting it so Olivia could she her tear-full eyes.
"Oh Stace..." She said, hugging her tightly. She could feel Stacey's tears fall onto her thin t-shirt. "I may not understand what you're going through, but I will be there will you every step of the way."
Stacey sat up, smiling at Olivia. "Oh Oli...I knew you would still be here for me the time I would need you the most." She tightly hugged Olivia one last time.
"I love you, you know." Olivia said, standing up. "I wouldn't want anything bad to happen to you."
"I love you too, Oli. I love you, too."
The two girls sat on the couch, watching their favorite movie, New Year's Eve. "It may be September, but this is good to watch any day of the year." Stacey bellowed with a smile.
"You got that right!" Olivia yelled.
"Girls," her mom said, walking into the living room. "Me and your father are leaving, Stacey. You two be good, okay?"
They both nodded and her parents headed out the door.
"Where they going and how long?" Olivia questioned.
"Chicago. A week."
"But isn't Chicago like, all the way across country? In Illinois? But we live in Maine."
"Exactly."Stacey smirked. "Whole week of me and you time! My brother is out all week, too!"
"Wait, so Carlos won't be here either?!"
The two girls jumped with joy. They both hated Carlos. Carlos was a tall, skinny boy, well not really boy he was 22. He still lived at home with his parents, though. He had long black hair, which his bangs flew over his eyes constantly. He looked a bit emo, as people would say, but he's diffidently not. He's anything but. He is a very sweet when Stacey's parents were around and such.
Once the movie ended, they both walked into the kitchen. "Are you going to eat anything Stace?" Olivia asked, looking through her whole fridge, taking things out left and right. Stacy shook her head. "No, I've already eaten dinner." That's a lie. That's a lie. We all know you're lying, Stacey. She thought.
"Oh, okay then. Is it cool if I eat for you, then?" Olivia joked, stuffing her face with food. Olivia was one of those people who could eat 1000 pounds of food and gain no weight what so ever.
I'm so jealous of her. Stacey thought. But I can't tell her that. No. She can't find that out. I really want to keep this a secret. She's pretty, beautiful, skinny, tiny, small, gorgeous, the perfect height and weight. I wish I looked like her.
"Snap out of it Stace."
"Snap out of what?" Olivia asked, showing down on some grilled cheese.
"Oh..I said that out loud?"
"You did."
"Sorry, it's just. I can't say."
"You can telll me anything, Stace. And you know that."
"I know, Oli, I just. I'm sorry. I can't."
