the large group has gone to the zoo, connors request. they only had a few more days of winter break, and lucy said they should go snowboarding. it would be a long drive, since the closest mountain was 1.5 hours. they decided to leave tomorrow, and come back on the 6th.
lucy and alyssa made their way back to alyssa's car, victoria and connor getting in the backseat. nolan, alex and josh all went in nolan's small car. it wasn't a far drive back to victorias house, and the group went inside. the three girls went into victorias room, sitting on her large bed. " lucy what is going on with you and nolan, i haven't seen you talk once" alyssa said, the girl shrugging.
" we have, we talked like the whole time today. we just haven't talked about new years" lucy said, victoria groaning. the three girls noticed it was already 9pm, so alyssa and lucy thought it was time to go home.
" shit lucy i cant give you a ride, i was supposed to be home 35 minutes ago. sorry, ask nolan?" alyssa said putting her shoes on, knowing her mom would be very mad at her. lucy nodded, noticing the group of guys were gone. she headed upstairs, victoria already being in the shower. nolan's bedroom door was open, the boy sitting on his bed doing whatever on his phone.
" hey" lucy said, walking into the boys room. " can you give me a ride home? alyssa couldn't". nolan groaned, lucy laughing.
" vic needs to get her license" nolan said, following the younger girl downstairs. lucy agreed, sliding her shoes on and going out the front door. the car ride wasn't awkward, since they talked the whole time. " we have to talk about new years eventually". lucy nodded, the boy glancing over at her as she just looked out the window.
" thanks for the ride, see you tomorrow" lucy said, shutting the door and going into her house.
