lucy's mom made an unexpected trip to the bahamas from december 23-28, since their dad is always home in the holidays. the family of four toured around the island, lucy finally enjoying being around them. but she did miss her friends, thankfully being back in time for nolan's new years party.they were back at the villa they rented, the girl going up to the room her and maddy shared. lucy sat on the bed, going on her phone. she had 3 messages all from nolan, most likely about the party.

lucy had gotten home yesterday morning, spending the day doing her laundry and cleaning her room. today she was gonna go to victoria's, alyssa also going there later on. the girl put on dark blue sweatpants and a black tube top, putting slides on before heading out the door. she hadn't even tried to get her license yet, so she just walked once again. once she arrived, lucy let herself in and noticed the house was rather quiet. the girl stood in the large foyer, looking up the staircase. " hello?" she said, hearing stuff downstairs. lucy went down, seeing nolan sitting on his phone in the workout room.
" fuck you scared me" he jumped, the girl smiling as she tried not to laugh. " vic had to go out for something, should be back in an hour or so. ally isn't coming for a few hours."
lucy groaned, sitting on the floor, " well shit, what am i gonna do". she thought for a moment, then standing up. then realizing she had no ideas
" workout? that's what i do" he shrugged, connecting his phone to the speaker. she nodded, going upstairs into victorias room. lucy grabbed a pair of black biker shorts and an oversized t shirt. after arriving downstairs, she found herself confused. " you look so stupid"
" i don't workout?" lucy said to him confused, sitting on the bench. nolan chuckled, continuing to do whatever he was doing. eventually she copied him, the boy laughing at her efforts. nolan put the bar down, looking at the girl.
" how much do you weigh? not in like a creepy judgemental way like for reference and"- lucy laughed at the boy who rolled his eyes at her
" don't know, 150 ish, 160?" lucy said, just guessing. he nodded, telling the girl to stand straight. she did as he said, nolan bending down slightly. lucy was confused, not sure what he was doing.
" you have to like lean on my shoulders or it won't work" nolan spoke in a tone that made her roll her eyes, leaning sideways over his shoulders. nolan held onto the back of her knees tightly with one hand, lucy shivering st the feeling of his cold rings, her arms wrapping around his other arm. nolan stood up, the girl worried she would fall.
" i'm gonna fall on my ass put me down" lucy said laughing, moving around. she immediately regretted moving as the boy tumbled over, lift quickly getting up and grabbing his arm. " shit oh my god that was my fault sorry". he groaned slightly, standing up and telling her it was no big deal.
