she talks to me in class
uncaring of who might see
it's a wonderful feeling
she says we're friends now
and the word friends makes my heart smile
i'd take anything from her
whether it be the sound of friends or more
if she gave me her heart
i would take it
and i'd keep it safe
until i bled.
